I do a lot of True residential undercounter wine refrigerators and find that the grey primer colored evaps are all sht after 2 years. The replacement black evaps seem to be holding better.....Nice job as usual!!!
my guess was evap. fan as well as condenser fan. if either of them stick from being powered off, the same will occur in defrost cycle or thermostat off cycle if it shuts them off sticking on pulling too low, probably the thermostat contacts welding unless it's frosting/icing the coil oddly, which is where a small bore cope inspection camera is nice or mirror. just watch them fan blades =p
Not a bad one it's been slow for me also... I fix used/surplus and the last two shipments didn't have a lot to fix... So been with the little circle of people that call and getting by with that...
if i have to spin a fan motor to get it started i will replace it...its possible it ran warm cuz the fan motor overheated at some point and shut down..
Hi Dave, the little Navac is back! Great job! By the way I’m having problems with my (micron gage bluvac+) the same problem you had a while back. Did you solved that problem? Greetings from PR
Hey Dave , I didn’t see if you recovered the charge before you put the process tube on , if not , how ? 😂. I think it’s great you do the extra little things that go a long way to help people. Like cleaning that other condenser . Businesses are hurting for sure. I have been going through a crapload of evap motors on True coolers , especially the small 10’s and 12’s
Use a Yellow Jacket 60665 Bar-Style Pinch-off And Reround Tool. Pinch off down stream, cut open and braze on Schrader, then use reround tool to open up the tube with the Schrader pushed in for a split second to purge and done.
Big thumbs up from England. Don't forget you can't polish a turd but you can roll it in glitter 👍
Like Gary Gliter??? Did I age myself?
@@NorCal-refrigeration that's a name we don't mention in the UK anymore...😬
Guru posting full-time like it's his job!
that sunset looked more like it trying to burn through the fire smog, ash and debris clouds lol
we love the leakers, they bring in the money!

FYI, youtube captions say "we love the burgers" on your intro song😂

I am Hvac tech but going into commercial refrigeration keep them I love your videos
Thanks for watching I have a ton of videos going way back that might help.
Oh nor-cal
Hey Dave, JB makes braze on copper tap valves there pretty handy and they don’t leak like the saddle ones.
Excellent tip Rich 🤘⚡️🤘
Great job and a good catch on that units plug with the hot spot on that one prong.
where there's a cooked plug, there's also a cooked outlet. guaranteed
The steel fins are the best, easy to clean better air flow.

thank for the good job
When these units aren't working, does it make them False?
Great job Dave, keep up the good work.

I will too when it stops again. 🤣😂🤣🤣
Good vid Super Dave ... Good luck on the impending Winter coming up ... Lol ...
It’s raining 🌧 ⚡️🌧
Would you buy a foreign Turkish freezer! Great video Dave! Thanks.
Joey, you ever been in a Turkish prison?
It seems that every time a refrigerator is not cooling properly the first suspect is the Condenser then check for gas leakage?
#5 👍👍
#278 Thumbs Up
Do the swaging bits hold up? They sure get hot it looks like ,great video again Dave!
Would Dave buy a foreign Turkish freezer??
Dave? Dave's not here man...

Dave interesting swaging drill attachment, are you concerned at all at flakes of copper being ground off & then falling down into the compressor?
If you do it properly, do don’t have to worry about flakes
@@ka-i define doing it properly.
I would have sweged the fitting then clean it off before attaching.
That unit is a True dinosaur over 10 years old
👍
good 1 turd polisher
I was thinking why you didn't recover the Freon add charging port then factory charge
I was getting side tracked then came back to it.
