Looks like you and I both worked today. My call was frozen beer in Perlick slide top bottle cooler. The owner was tripping because it was a grand opening and the cooler was brand new. Turns out he bought a mug chiller instead. LMFAO! Looks like I might be able to sell him a bottle cooler. :-)
Would you recommend having R 290 starting components caps and relays in your service van since they are becoming more common? Cause I ran into a locked clicking r290 compressor a while back, I just recommend a new compressor swap. The condenser was rugged over. I wanted to throw 3 n 1 out of curiosity if it will come back but I know how True is very picky about that especially there r290 units ... Any thoughts?
True is going out of their way to prove they are becoming more and more irrelevant. Yet, they insist that we should be using "proper refrigeration practices", but technical support cannot give us the correct practices.
My trainer did not like True thermostats. We use the Ranco brand A12-1560. We used to use the A12-700 but this new number has a constant cut out so it is better when you have customers that like to tinker with things. 😉
Angelo Kelesis I use the 61-030 on all brands , for medium temp. For freezers I use a thermostat made by Ranco , but I can’t think of the p# at the top of my head .
David I have been thinking about writing a script called nor cal baby not so much about the work you do but problems you deal with at home I can write it but I live in nc do kinda far for me to direct it lol
Good, simple calls on the two you showed. Guess I am old, too, as the "lactose-infused, unfiltered fruit IPA" beers of the world are utter garbage to me. Give me a good, clean Pilsner.
Beer flavored beer? Yeah, we are old. Been guilty of not lining that temp control off the arrow twice or once. Doesn't matter too much since most of my idiots crank it to max anyway!
GUYS -- Time to bring on your OLD SCHOOL -- I gotta Hussman HOCA Condensing Unit with a Copelametic ERF1-0310-TDC R22 Compressor circa June 1991 still pluggin along on a 12' Hussman Open Air in Islamorada Florida -- what do you MOFOS have? BRING IT -- I wanna hear some R12 Chit.
I’m surprised true didn’t just tell you to swap out the compressor. They give those things away like hot cakes. Always the same clean coil dedicated circuit? Ok let me send you over to warranty parts.
I think I found it but I want to be sure since it doesn’t show temp range on the specs. There’s actually zero specs on the one I suspect of being the correct model
Thanks for the Tip --- on the Wicking strips. i never seen or heard of that before. im probably gonna use that one for sure. i allways see those wicks trashed.
Good vid. ive used one of those rhs controls you let me know about. only thing i dont like is the terminals are on the back not side. you need alot of room at the rear and it almost hits the evap on 2 door trues. t-49. especially with straight push on connectors. thanks for letting me know about that control though. they seem to work good so far. i have one more on the truck allready.
I’m second the other guy. “Where the beer that taste like beer”. Lmfao.

True said 3 in 1 to start compressor then remove it. Order start components
The last few t-stats, I've done, from the factory (True) have still made the box too cold.
I'll have to try the RHS.
THANKS DAVE...... GREAT VIDEO
There only 24$
Nor-Cal Refrigeration & H.V.A.C Nor cal Dave. I just checked those stats on their site. 61030 were priced $57.14 🤷♂️not $24.00

First 😃 . 61-030 to the rescue . I carry two in my truck ...
does 61-030 work on all (Cooler )true units?? thought they are all different any hints on the freezer controller??
Angelo Kelesis I use the 61-030 on all brands , for medium temp. For freezers I use a thermostat made by Ranco , but I can’t think of the p# at the top of my head .

I like the new rack clips, made out of zip ties! They must of lost most all of them on that true r/I.
i see that alot.
Trying to find an evap for my old Bev_air worktop. So frustrating. any suggestions?
Try Refrigeration hardware supply
Okay, I guess I'll get it from Amazon. www.amazon.com/Beverage-Air-305-173C-Evaporator-q20-Inch/dp/B00MPR79TQ

All day long
yep, im suprised too. hell sometimes they send me the whole condensing unit to me if the compressor is not in stock. lol.
True would send us the retrofit kit for these coolers when thermostats would fail. Pain in the ass is all I can say.
Oh ya Mega pain
👍
I know one thing.. no calls next sunday..lol
Damn right
Even though ni Los Aguilas ni Los Santos van a jaguar.
Vaya NFC!

Hey brother sorry to rape you of your knowledge, but do you have the RHS part number for The T-23F with the freezer temp range ?
