@@CatCubed Are we certain we're getting other seasons? They've made a bad habit of only watching one season of shows then abandoning them without notice.
I once heard some say “You are not responsible for what happened to you as a child, but it is your responsibility to heal from it”. To me it sums up childhood trauma perfectly.
From this episode till the remainder of the show, you will be witnessing why I believe this is the greatest cartoon I've ever watched, and one of the greatest shows period I've ever watched.
David Cronenberg was not involved in The Thing 10:47, but I get why you would think that. He's most famous for the 1986 version of The Fly (with Jeff Goldblum). But he has a lot of other weird/disturbing visual effects/body horror movies on top of that. Also "Scanners" by him is a great B movie, highly recommend, I have a poster of that movie on my wall.
This is the episode that cemented that Bojack was gonna be a different kind of show for me. Before this, you had 'The Telescope' which had that real hard-hitting Bojack-Herb moment, but it didn't necessarily indicate just how deep the writers would go. But this episode, the last 30-40 seconds or so? Almost any other show would have played it safe, would have had Diane say 'yes, Bojack it's not too late to be a good person' and comfort/reassure him or give him a motivational speech. But it never happens (or rather it does, but only in Bojack's drug-induced hallucinations). They just let it hang, let the silence stretch almost unbearably long and finally have that conspiracy dude repeat the catchphrase that Bojack has heard a million times before it cuts to credits without any answer to Bojack's question. I love the writing in this show.
Y’all are the most delightfully goofy nerds to watch on UA-cam and I love it! It’s like watching my cousins, if they were 33.33333% nerdier and had their own channel.
damn no one gonna tell em the music in the drug trip sequence guess l will unless they already looked it up it was from Death Grips the song is called No Love Deep Web
Speaking of doing drugs: I was hanging out with a few friends on a bench near an apartment building. It was something like 1 am (we used to sleep in late back then) and all of a sudden, a dude comes out of the building and starts throwing rocks up at a really tall tree. He keeps yelling "Get down from there! I'm gonna kill you!" We go to ask the dude what he is doing and he tells us that he was checking on his mom, when a guy ran out of her closet, jumped out the window (from the 7th floor) and is now hiding up in tree. We wished him good luck and went on our way.
I love how Jennie is always just an unwilling and non participating part of a dance sandwich 😂 You all have no idea what’s in store for the future 😰. Like the pastry for no charge.
It's Death Grips, that "nice beat". Let's just say it's pretty out there musically. Do you by any chance enjoy a black man screaming about wanting to die?
@@Androssi709 There are a couple of other UA-camrs reacting to Bojack who are just finishing season 1. JoJo the Primadonna and Shane Farley if you are interested
My thoughts too. The show was just starting to scratch the surface at this point. Man I wish they could do two a week; this show works better as a semi regular binge than a weekly show. It's too serial; if what happened last episode isn't fresh enough you won't catch/appreciate everything.
Boy, if you thought THIS was a "downer ending", just stay tuned for the remaining seasons.... *_*slinks away, cackling maniacally_**
Yeah, in Downer Ending BoJack's not even halfway down, tbh.
this is the first episode that made me realize this show is gonna get deeeeep. so excited to see yall react to the upcoming seasons. it gets good
Bukola's voice breaking in Season 1 hurts. You just know the real tears are coming.
Right? Good as it is, this is by far the least painful of the penultimate episodes.
She is not ready for the other seasons. This is nothing compared to what's gonna come.

It's an excellent work of animation that is my favorite animated show
The depression is just getting started. Life is a never ending show, my friends.
Except the minor detail that it endssss
The overture’s a lifetime, but the show is short.
Here with all your family and friends!

This show is a great exercise in having compassion for people who aren't good.
Which is an issue they directly address later on! Most self-aware writers in TV history.
Bojack is like Game of Thrones - Episode 11 is going to be the heartbreaker of the season.
What a sad, trippy and great episode. Loved how genuine your reactions were, too!
This is when the show really shows you what you're in for

Great reaction! This is quite the episode! I am looking forward to your reaction to all the other hard hitting episodes!
“Nice writing Shakespeare “ 😂
My heart broke for Bukola after this episode! The feels are real with this show
I LIVE for Jens and Bukola friendship its so pure lol
Jens and Bukola have a great friendship indeed :P
Does Jens appear in this video?
Yeah jen is the one in the purple and black shirt

Probably next episode or the first one of season 2.

Nice episode and great reference to 1982’s The Thing in it
Wow, I just realized this video is 17 minutes
Here we go!
Jesus people if you keep taking about depressing the show gets you’re going to scare them away! Ease up people!
I always forget that they play Death Grips is in this episode
I know this sounds like nagging now, but it would be great if you could do 2 episodes per week please?
I second the motion.
That doesn’t align with our editing schedule right now but maybe for the future!
