- 16-year-old Quincy Wilson, a sophomore at the Bullis School (MD) just advanced to the 400m final at the U.S. Olympic Trials with a 44.59 in the semifinal.
The time broke his own U18 world record and U.S. high school record that he set just two days ago.
One of the best stories of the Trials. It’s been awesome to witness this talent over the past two years at New Balance Nationals and now at the biggest stage for track in America.

We need new athletes like this to remind us of the true spirit of Olympic sports.
I think Quincy and Christian Miller are going to be the future stars of track and field if they stay healthy and continue on getting better.
Indeed. We can see the passion for the sport. He knows his history . So he will be a great promoter and ambassador as a champion.
His media presence and god given ability, looks like a true star in the making
That boy said, “ I'm running for my life!” and memt every world of it! 😂😂😂.
Big congrats to him! 16 and about to be a Future Olympian 💙🙏🏿
Man this kid is electric. He’s the future he will definitely break the 400m world record and be the first in the 42s.
absolutely!
44.59 at 16 is just mind blowing, might be even more mind blowing than Erriyon Knighton's 20.33 at the same age a few years ago. Quincy Wilson will be the first to sub-43 in the 400m. No doubt in my mind
There almost no question that it’s more impressive than Erriyon’s 20.33. Erriyon’s most impressive jump in performances was at 17, when he really rewrote the record books. I’d like to say 44.59 would make the finals for every global final, and even win medals in a good number of them.
Why the need to dull ones light so that another's light shine? The two posted great times! 200m is not 400m...and vice versa!
Usain Bolt aurait pu faire mieux
You got this Quincy! I’m convinced you will do a PB in the finals.
Go, Quincy! Heart of a lion 🦁
This kid is a star
He is not 16. He is legend.
God bless this inspiring young man🎉🎉🎉
This kid is insane....He will rock this 400m event in next 2-4 years....All the best young boy...
He's already on the team been in that finals- at least mixed relays! Go Quincy!
I love this kiddddd....can't wait to see where God takes him!!! All the very best Champ 🖤
Amen!
His smile is infectious I am so proud/happy for him I wish him so much success ❤
Congrats, Mr. Wilson😊
Love Quincy's energy and spirit. So proud of this young one! 🎉
The future... this is only the beginning..wow!!!!!!!
This kid....just wow. The genuine spirit. He is literally the "Goku" of Track and Field and we are watching him evolve into a Super Sayian before our eyes.
I’d personally say Gohan. Noah seems more akin to Goku to me. This fella is next gen… for which I am grateful to be watching so early on in his career. His parents did a wonderful job.
I agree with Joshua. He's more like Gohan, because he should great promise at a young age just like Wilson is right now.
Just like Gohan. Wilson is showing performances that would rival grown ass men.
“i broke it twice in 2 days” lmfao
Humblest kid I've ever heard 💀. Na but in all seriousness, Quincy's a phenom. He'll be the first to sub-43. Calling it now
So proud of him!
Pure Joy!
I went to middle school with Quincy, and he’s always had this amazing passion for track and we all knew he was gonna do something big. I’m so excited to see what he does next 😁
He's one of one. What he's doing is unheard of.
Very, very impressive! Congratulations from Chile.
David v Goliaths! Go Quincy!!
I've been following Quincy for a few years... He will break the WR if he stays healthy 2028 👀 👁 yes, I said it......
This kid is COOL. No other way to putting it. What a bright future ahead of him!
Good job young man 😊.
Continue to work hard and try to stay injury free.
You have shown what the DMV has to offer.
Congrats and give thanks to the one who has given you this talent, " God." 😊
This kid is going places! Focused, Driven and Respectful! 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆💪🏾💯
This kid is precious in every way. Wow! Nice job parents. Nice job Coach. Nice job Quincy.
Wow, kid. You gonna be great... 🇯🇲 🇯🇲 🇯🇲 🇯🇲 🇯🇲
I’m truly happy for this young man!!! Keep on going Q!!!
Humble kid
Damn. He speaks better than most adults in this comment section. 😂😂😂
He will make team for 400 God bless that kid only 16 wow
I love his excitement!
He’ll be in the relay pool for sure! He’s going to Paris even if he doesn’t make the top 3. And he’ll deserve it!
Learning a lot from watching Quincy here, embodies the spirit of the games, great energy, great values, great guy with a supernova future ahead!! What a character! ❤
“They don’t wanna get beat by a 16 year old.” 😂😂
Luv this kid!!! I hope he makes the top 3. He’s such a magnetic force !! Run Quincey run!!!❤
How do you not love this kid?
He gives me chills! Amazing and decent young man. God bless him and I think he has the heart to match his talent and could make this team
Just an amazing kid.
This kid is great!
Go Quincy 👍
Love how he praises God too 🙏🏼❤️
Yall scared to say it but I’m not he going to make the Olympics. He placing on the top 3 of that final
And that's ok
@@remnantsaved144 Wdym ya'll scared to say? He is in the final so he has a shot. Obviously, some other sprinters in the final have a better probability of making the team, but it's still possible he can make it. Plus he's going to Olympics anyways since he made the relay pool.
He just needs to make the relay pool.
Maaaaaaaaaan stop hating on that 16 y/o. He’s just having fun 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
May God be with your mind
Yes Sir, a breath of fresh air! You the man 'Q'!
I would love to see him on the relay team in Paris if he doesn't make it individually. Let's go Quincy
You have a bright future, Quincy! Keep following your dream! Amd stay grounded as you have told! Im happy for you!
Simply Amazing ! What more can you say ! 😲
I’m so proud of this youngin dawg 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
AWESOME!!!
Go back and see the magic he made at the Penn Relays, in the 4X400 relays !!
He is NOT just a Shooting Star
love this kid mannnn
This child I love...his humbleness...unlike Lyles. He knows how to give an interview
Yes Lyles can be a little too much sometimes, lol. He better focus more on his race than his antics because that Jamaican Seville is no joke and is my pick to win the Gold even though I want an American to win.
They're 2 different people. He should be himself just like Noah should be himself. I enjoy both of them. They both bring things that the sport needs.
Go Quincy! 👏🏾
He’s awesome!
Yes, young man! Give God the glory 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 They tried to change the subject and he brought it back to the Creator! Play that gospel music 🎶 and give God praise!
This kid's gonna be something:)
I'm officially a fan 🎉
This is a wholesome kid!! Keep GOD central, and a good circle of people around him.
this kid is aweseome!! i would love to see him make the team. I feel like it's difficult because it looked like he ran all out so i hope he got something left in the tank. Top 5 is definitely possible but i don't think he will make the team individually
NEW FAN!!!
Who are rooting for Quincy? This guy is full of energy
He will be the next 400m record holder
He gives a better interview than Fred Kerley 😂
he is going to paris no matter what happens in the finals
Amen to that!! Would love for him to make the team. That would be historic!!
Giving glory to god a true G
Who held the record for 42 yrs.?
Darrell Robinson
Micheal Johnson the goat
Darrell Robinson former national high school record of 44.69, was set in 1982 while he ran for Wilson High School.

good interview nicely told reporters he did not want share his game plan but at some point he needs to walk away
bro never has breathe lmaooo
“and i broke it twice in two days.” ain’t that the damn truth.
He will be youngest Olympian ever
😮!!!!!!
"I don't know when I'm going to get my driver's license." He can get busted for speeding without a car.
He's only 16 and interviews better than Angel Reese
rent free bro 😂 rent free
