It’s in a good quiet location but there are no private plots. The camp has great amenities and the owners Ruth and Jon are lovely and work hard to make sure everyone is happy.

Good info but it would be useful to me to see inside accessible facilities too as a disabled motorhome user. Thank you

Thank you. We agree that would be good to highlight and will take that on in future where possible. Please note our videos are filmed many weeks in advance so any changes will take time to be on.

Hello Paul, we are new to motorhomes and have been watching your various videos as part of our research. We are hoping to collect our van in March (2024) and it’s 2.10m wide and 6.3m long. I was wondering how you get on parking your van when you go off site for the day, we do have cycles which we will take with us, but sometimes we just may want to take the van out for the day rather than cycle to a nearby town or village. Please can you let me know your thoughts and let me know any problems that you have encountered or any advice that would be useful when trying to park in or near towns?
    Many thanks
    Mrs Richmond

Great. We don’t use the van now when staying at a campsite as we prefer to leave it connected and either walk or use public transport. Previously we would use car parks that had good overhangs around the outer edges so that you can reverse into them. Another option we would do is use Google Street view which has helped us find either good on street parking or car parks easy to get to that look suitable. We sometimes find motorhomes parked on street view which really helps when looking.
We wish you many happy travels in your new van.
