I've watched this video possibly a hundred times. I had an AT2020 mic, and no matter what I did, I couldn't get the sound I wanted. Finally, I bought a Shure SM7dB, and now I'm going through the whole process again. And I'm finally getting closer to the sound I want. This video has been critical in getting things to work. Every time I listen to it and make adjustments in Logic, things keep getting better. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO. Without it, I would have stayed forever lost. You're the best!

Thaks, a lot. Great videos, not only this. Ocasional humor is very refreshing. I used to edit audiotracks podcasts in Audition, but will switch to logic after this video. Like the interface more, an your tips are great.

Thank you for the tutorial. Love how it emphasizes on the workflow and it's not a click here click there kinda thing.

This is amazing! Thank you. I'm a total sound noob and edit my own podcast. Thank you for the video tutorial too. This has really helped me up my game and transition from GarageBand to LPX.

I’m currently a ProTools user on my 2020 Mac Book Pro, but looking to make the switch to Logic Pro X. Many Engineers have rated this DAW sounding better than ProTools. I will be purchasing a Mac Mini M2 within the next 30 days for better processing of the software. My plugins are SSL. I Will also be adding fab filters plugins. Podcasting is new to me and will try these techniques. Thank you for your videos. Your technical verbiage is spot of for my type of learning.

I use Logic on my MacBook Pro. I’d maximize processing cores over maximizing memory if I had to choose one or the other.

for the master loudness meter what are we supposed to be hitting? i don't think i saw the master chain covered. i just see the plugins in there.

Thanks for the helpful video! What if I only have one track with multiple guests' voices? I know it's not ideal, but I'm editing a live stream that I did on UA-cam, so I only have one audio track.

If they’re not speaking over each other then you can split them onto separate tracks. If they are, then you just have to make the best of a bad situation unfortunately.

    • @ThePianoSenseiWay

@@SamLoose split them? Sounds tedious! How do you do that?
