Home Free. Five of the most talented, skilled and versatile musicians in the musical arena. There are almost 200 Home Free videos on You Tube. All of them awesome. Some of my personal favorites are "Brother", "Blue Ain't Your Color", "Folsom Prison Blues", "The Driver", "Diamond Dreams", "Forever And Ever, Amen", "Moonshine", "Unchained Melody", "Crazy". Other Home Fries, (fans of Home Free) will have lots more suggestions for you and none of them will be bad. Bit of a warning, tho'. If you start down the Home Free rabbit hole, there's no turning back. They are addictive. But you won't regret it.
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole if you choose to dive in Home Free is a fantastic group of guys that tour all over the U.S. and the world and has released over 160 videos I think and many albums it's a great ride. Great reaction have a great day.
Home Free is an a cappella group so no instruments. Their beatboxer is phenomenal. He was doing harmonica, drums and other sounds. They all take the lead depending on the song. They are country but sing all genres of music. They sing a lot of covers but also write and sing their own music. They also have a wicked sense of humor and are a lot of fun. Good reaction
Loved your reaction. Trust me Home Free never disappoints and there are so many great originals and covers to explore in many different genres. To get a sense of what each of them can do check out: Lead off singer, tenor, Austin Brown - When a Man Loves a Woman Bearded/Overalls, tenor, Rob Lundquist - End of the Road Hat/No Beard, percussion/beatboxer/harmonica and so 5:43 much more, Adam Rupp (who co-founded the group with his brother Chris Rupp who is in older videos) - Ain’t Going Down Til the Sun Comes Up (on FaceBook) Suspenders/No Beard, bass (5-octave range), Tim Foust - Folsom Prison Blues Beard/Hat, baritone/bass (4-octave range), Adam Chance (goes by Chance and replaced Chris Rupp in 2016) - I Can’t Outrun You Other amazing often overlooked songs - anything on their Dive Bar Saints album (all but 2 originals); Heaven; Castle on the Hill; One Voice; One Man Band and their newest two, Save the World and Understand (just released today).
Home Free are the best. You need to check out more of their songs. End of The Road, In The Blood, Listen to The Music, Driver, Dreamer, How Great Thou Art and so many more. Love your reaction!
You have just been introduced to the best a cappella group out there. These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singers out there & their beatboxer vocal percussionist Adam Rupp can simulate any sound. This song is very old & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney.
Oh goodness! So many videos to recommend! Home Free (or someone in the group) can sing nearly any genre. They can be anywhere from serious to funny. But, the vocals never ever suffer. Tight harmonies. And one alien beat boxer who swallowed a drum kit. Welcome to the rabbit hole 🕳 of HF!
Welcome to the rabbit hole of Home Free! Enjoy exploring this amazingly talented group! Listen to End of the Road next followed by the Butts Remix, then How Great thou Art. IMO they are the best A capella group out there!
Home Free is the best--period. It's easy to forget they are completely acapella and make all "instrumental" sounds themselves. In this song they are making a distinct southern (country blues) presentation--it definitely fits the lyrics of the song. Chance doing the jaw harp sound really sets the stage for this song's story, which Austin's twang fits phenomenally. Tim's bass line completely grounds the harmonies and Adam's voice percussion simply cannot be beat. This performance highlights a lot of Home Free's strengths although they also handle ANY other genre just as amazingly❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ Some of my favorites are "Working for a Living", "Good 'Ol Country Harmony", "Land of the Free", "Elvira" (with the Oak Ridge Boys), "Undivided", "Ain't Goin' Down 'Til the Sun Comes Up" (which is not on YT--it's on their official Facebook page), "Listen to the Music", "What's Left of My Heart", and "Understand" 😍!
This is one of the big 3 acapella groups(Voiceplay, and Pentatonix) are the others. Please go check them out too. If you want theatrical performances then check out Voiceplay. They are the theatre kids of acapella
And...another one falls down the rabbit hole. You are so fucking doomed. We'll save you a chair. You're about to be buried in Home Fries. Home Free is the only country a capella group out there, but they can - and do - sing every genre. And they have no lead singer. Every one of these men can take the lead, and they pick the lead for each song by who does it the most justice. During quarantine, they kept all us Home Fries sane by dropping new videos every couple of weeks. God bless ‘em. All the men can beat box, but Adam is in a league of his own. He's a two-time world champion and there're good reasons he's called a "Freak of Nature" and “the man who swallowed a drum kit.” For more of Adam's incredible beat boxing, check out Sea Shanty medley (the man makes castanets, for Pete's sake), his no-monica solo on Working For A Living and Ain't Going Down Til The Sun Comes Up (that video is on Facebook), and his drum solos. For more of Tim's seismic basso profundo, listen to Brothers In Arms, Misty Mountains (his collaboration with Peter Hollens), Folsom Prison Blues, or Ring Of Fire (the Sing Off version). For Chance's smooth baritone, check out Down to the Honky Tonk, Brothers In Arms, and Folsom Prison Blues. (Awesome.. basso profundo and a baritone/bass in the same group.) FYI, Chance is singing (throat singing) the jaw harp sounds - without the jaw harp - in Man Of Constant Sorrow. For Rob's smooth soul, check out End of the Road, Blue Ain't Your Color, or Bless The Broken Road. (Blue-eyed soul is in good hands with The Beard.) For Austin's soaring tenor, check out Crazy, Moonshine, When A Man Loves a Woman, or Bring Him Home. (But bolt down your chair ‘cause he'll sing you right out of it.) For their humor, check out Butts Remix, Working For A Living, Between A Rock And A Heartache, Make You Feel My Love, Brother, and Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget. For their amazing arrangement skills, check out Do You Hear What I Hear. (Adam's arrangement. Nothing else like it.) For their tight harmonies, check out Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, Brothers In Arms, or Auld Lang Syne. For their mashups, check out Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On, Fishing in the Dark/Boondocks, Country Fried Pop, or Woman, Amen/Female. For more of their wonderful collaborations, check out God Bless the USA with Lee Greenwood, American Pie with Don McLean, Elvira with The Oak Ridge Boys, Children Go Where I Send Thee with the late Kenny Rogers, Don’t Laugh At Me with Mark Wills, Christmas In Dixie with Alabama, or Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For with Peter Hollens. Get at least five videos under your belt and then listen to Mayday - the official video. After Mayday, you'll be ready for Tim and Austin doing My Maria or Tim's mashup of Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay. Then, when you come up for air, check out Rob and Austin singing Nessun Dorma. You'll need smelling salts after that one. Don't miss their official videos. The Home Free men will often do a straight, gorgeous vocal performance, but they'll add elements of humor to the video that will leave you chuckling or even laughing out loud. (Folsom Prison Blues, Between A Rock And A Heartache, Make You Feel My Love, Working For A Living, Brother). Their synergy is phenomenal. Each is an artist in his own right, but man - when they sing together, magic happens. Wicked talent polished by decades of hard work. (Unchained Melody, Castle On The Hill, Seven Bridges Road) To paraphrase another Home Fry, “They don't just own a cover, they upgrade it.” You are doomed, Home Fry. Bring ketchup.
Pentatonix and Home Free you know about. Please react to VOICEPLAY (acapella) and to Dimash (The greatest singer in the world! No, really!) :) Be well, Duke
Home Free is My Favorite Acapella Group, Glad You Reacted to Them.

This performance blew me away! Love this song. And I first heard it on the movie. I just completely enjoyed this.
Best of the very best !! Home Free!! Only band I listen to, ever!! Subbed because of HF
Great reaction! I saw Home Free several weeks ago and they sound fantastic live.

Movie is "oh brother where art thou". Glad you liked them too. I won't repeat the list I left on the ptx reaction comment.... Plenty to explore.
Home Free - Everybody Walkin This Land.
Yebba - Evergreen.
Nightwish - Ghost Love Score at Wacken 2013
Try Helplessly Hoping. To me it is pure magic. Very short but amazing.
No instruments were included in the making of this sound.
And...another one falls down the rabbit hole. You are so fucking doomed. We'll save you a chair.

This is the only acapela group that rivals pentatonix.
