Anyone know why there was a fire extinguisher sitting perfectly in that canyon? 🤣 Be sure to check out the new limited edition designs, I'm super stoked on how they turned out! More epic flying sites coming soon!
A little trivia about the crater, a mining claim was filed in 1903, by Mr. Daniel M. Barringer, who received a land patent signed by Theodore Roosevelt for 640 acres (2.6 km2) around the center of the crater. Barringer named it after himself as, 'The Barringer Crater'. Impact physics was poorly understood at the time and Barringer was unaware that most of the meteorite vaporized on impact. He spent 27 years trying to locate a large deposit of meteoric iron and drilled to a depth of 419 m (1,375 ft) but no significant deposit was ever found. The Barringer family still owns the rights to the crater and charges fees to visit it. At the time of the claim in 1903, President Theodore Roosevelt also established a Post Office nearby and named it Meteor Crater, Arizona. The crater has also been used by NASA for astronaut training for the moon landings. It also played an important role in the 1984 movie 'Starman', the kilometer-wide remains of the 50,000-year-old impact is the end of the line for an alien who has temporarily taken on the form (of Jeff Bridges), to make contact with the human race. In 2018, MR. Tucker Gott, flew a paramotor over and around the Barringer Crater (and probably got away without paying a fee!! LOL!) Great shots and beautiful flight, Tucker! Keep 'em comin'!!
Its a shame this national landmark is monopolized upon by a company that charges ridiculous amounts to visit. This should be a national park, not a over priced tourist trap
Nighthawk The government isn’t around to own and maintain every strip of land that is some what interesting. Stop complaining that someone invested time and money on this land to make a little profit
@@lokish1457 There was no need to invest any time and money into it, they stole the land for a mining venture, and when that failed they fell back on over charging tourists. I can't afford one now, but I get the same feeling watching you fly, and it's awesome! The end of the video is hysterical with Jaclyn's cute face trying to get into the frame of the picture from behind you.
Been to the crater (in a land vehicle) and it's pretty awesome. You can hike down some steps to the floor of the crater and look up. It's just enormous. Then you can drive up to the Canyon and be even more awestruck. Arizona's got some incredible natural beauty to it. Thanks for this amazing flight which made me grip my chair arms very tightly!

Tucker Gott pulling off the Luke Skywalker Death Star trench action. Those turning dives back under the bridge were absolutely sick.
Got that right!

Kept thinking the same thing, 😆
"stay on target..."
Damn straight
Turns out you're a hell of a drone pilot too

I was just thinking, is that steeles influence?! I never knew tucker flew fpv
Something about seemingly defying gravity and occupying a space on this earth that not many people can say they have been in. Awesome footage!
Simply EPIC, Tucker. I don't know how the flying, commentary or brilliant photography and locations could get better. You are the best.
