If the gallery sells only to art world elites they will be considered a better brand, This means all the other art work they own will be worth more, Auction houses work exactly the same. Joan Miro's art- Never understood it. (the abstracts like here) Even in art school...I remember "knocking" one off for textile design...I really don't get art and how it is valued..I think art in the 50's was REAL artists finding ways to simplify and push the button, and ending up with unexplainable shapes and color.. 10-15 million value on that? @1:17
