Auxiliary Engine is used to start the main engines. Else main engines would be in a deadlock situation , It can't start once turned off.
Auxiliary Power Unit. Not engine. It's the power start button of aircraft
it is APU , Auxilary power unit, it does not provide thrust but it helps pilot to control!

syed obaidulla are you dumb and after the bird hits it and destroys the covering then the engine sucks it and and stalls then what ? Genius? There’s a reason why it’s never been done before and the engines are more robust the way they are try putting a protective cover over your mouth and shove a bird inside see what happens and there’s your answer
