Come Dine With Me takes people who are experts in the art of giving the perfect dinner party and puts their skills to the test. All are great cooks and excellent hosts - but they're all very different. So, if one person's perfect dinner party is another person's evening from hell, how will our hosts cope with a whole week of each other's hospitality?
Each night for a week, one of our hosts will throw a dinner party for the others. They all have their own unique styles of cooking and entertaining, but they're all determined to impress, because at the end of each evening, the guests will give their host a mark out of ten. The host with the most points at the end of the week wins £1,000 pounds. Come Dine With Me has expanded to a variety of formats including singles, couples and celebrity specials!

First couple had the most atrocious meal ideas and are very very delusional BUT they were so lovely & loving to each other I'd do my best to suffer through their dinner because I like them so much.

I went through of a phase of watching this show almost daily but went off it a couple of years ago. For some reason I've gotten back into it and I'd forgotten how much it puts me in stitches 🤣 the narrator adds to it so much, I love it! 😁

It was essentially fondue, which can be quite nice with pieces of bread or veggies. In America hot wings are typically served at bbq or during a Super Bowl party. I’ve never had them at a dinner party, a bit awkward to eat.

I do agree with this, but I also think that a lot of people won’t even try it once. I used to such a picky eater because I wouldn’t even try things before deciding I didn’t like them. Once I started trying everything at least once, I found tons of new foods that I liked (and would’ve never eaten previously)
