Come Dine With Me takes people who are experts in the art of giving the perfect dinner party and puts their skills to the test. All are great cooks and excellent hosts - but they're all very different. So, if one person's perfect dinner party is another person's evening from hell, how will our hosts cope with a whole week of each other's hospitality?
Each night for a week, one of our hosts will throw a dinner party for the others. They all have their own unique styles of cooking and entertaining, but they're all determined to impress, because at the end of each evening, the guests will give their host a mark out of ten. The host with the most points at the end of the week wins £1,000 pounds. Come Dine With Me has expanded to a variety of formats including singles, couples and celebrity specials!

I remember watching the Alex episode. His relationship with his mom is so pure and wholesome. It appears that, unfortunately, a lot of people don't have that.

I felt a bit bad for the woman who messed up her vegan burgers with the meaty knife. Easy mistake to make having to cater for multiple different diatery requirements at the same time in the same kitchen space.
I felt bad for her too. Simple mistake that anyone can make.

I'd have never heard of dauphinoise potatoes if it wasn't for this show. It doesn't seem like i was missing out on much though

Is it just me or is No Bake Cheesecake like the epitome of basic desserts 😂 nothing wrong with it, but i don't get how that would be a "showstopper" or whatever. Like the starters and mains are all baked and sautéed then there's a half assed refrigerated dessert to end the meal, seems underwhelming tbh. there's so many on this show! I mean it would be nice to see something a little less safe but knowing how 3/4 of the people on CDWM are either delusional/horrible cooks, maybe it's best they don't...
they're hopeless, but it's nice to hear the east anglian accent on tv for once
