Thank you! I’ll definitely be uploading more. Weather in Washington sucks! Once I get a chin mount for my helmet I’ll be doing ride along videos and trail videos🤙🏻
I would say, don't look at the cost of the bike to justify upgrades or not. Look at how much the part will benefit you, then judge if it's worth it. Getting a cheap bike is awesome, don't make it the reason you never upgrade it. If anything, the low cost should warrant more upgrades, as you know you could put higher quality parts on it that could make you more comfortable, or happy. Always make the bike better if you can, and it will become more valuable to you! Personal value at this price point will always be higher than actual value. Plus, wrenching is half the fun! Don't deprive yourself!
Same thing I did to my Hi-Rev 250, used a hammer and flat head to raise the shock. I'm 6' 2", but I like when I'm standing straight up, knees not bent and the bike is right under my crotch.
I wouldn't idle it too long when it's not moving, no air going thru the fins and it can get too hot. Nice bike!!! I hear 40 pilot and a 140 main is a good starting point
It's not going to be an issue it's not under load. You would do well to throw an oil cooler on there for when you do some hard rides in the summertime. Keeping the oil temp from getting too hot will also pay dividends in longevity as well as performance. My best advice is don't listen to most people in the comment section. 😂 unless they are actual Engineers or mechanics or perhaps well-known professional riders. wannabes and uninformed individuals...😅
@pricedownmall Also a thanks on Kenda K270 Tires. Will consider those if Powersportsmax does not fix issue on wobbling tire/wheel at speed under warranty. I also added a new NIBBI PE30 @1300 elevation to our new Templar X. Came stock with 128 main and 40 pilot. Wouldn't run right. Found a jetting elevation tool that said 128/40 is for sea level. Installed the included 125 main and runs pretty good after warmed up. The 40 pilot was the closest to what elevation range i will be riding (1100-2800). Idles nice around 1200rpm once warmed. Bike wants to stall all the time on warm up, choke or not. Heard others talking about same issue. Is this just becouse its a cold blooded old school 2-valve design? Or, more carb tuning needed? Also, alot of decel popping. Online research says it can come mostly from rich condition? Seen other video on this bike showing that the inside of this muffler is completely hallow( no insert of any kind). Could that be part of problem?
Check that your spark plug is not covered in carbon or faulty somehow and that the gap is correct. Those specs are on the xpro manual. Also what gas are you using? Should be at least 91 octane according to the xpro manual.
I really need to actually tune my carb and change my tires. Could be the muffler is empty or spark plug. Just a lot of fine tuning for these bikes I guess
@americantherapy1366 - I have the same problem withe a new Templar X: wobbling/ out of round/ out of balance front tire/wheel. OK thanks for info on replacing tires with quality tires. However, X-Pro should be responsible under warranty to resolve issue. So we should be asking them to resolve problem first.
Brandon, We also bought a new Templar X in the past month. We also have severely wobbling front wheel as speed increases. I can't determine if "out of round" tire or wheel. Heard the comment you made in other video: they are sending a replacement front wheel. Did you actually call powersportsmax on phone to handle problem? Or, did you message them via email. Having a hard time getting through on phone. Want to verify if you called X-Pro phone number or Powersportmax number. Thanks.
I emailed them and they already sent me a new ignition switch. Now I guess I’m just waiting on a new front wheel. I haven’t gotten a email from them on if I’m gonna get a new front wheel
@@CheapBikeOwner We emailed them too about the wobbling wheel. Look to see the name of who is responding to your emails from Powersportsmax. We got a woman named Zora. Like to know if she is the same one responding to your messages. We have had problems messaging her to get warranty/damaged parts replaced because she doesn't seem to understand anything about how motorcycles function. She is now asking for a VIDEO showing wheel problem. Wobble can only be captured at speed with like a helmet cam to lean forward to focus and record the riders view of the wobbling wheel. Does she really expect everyone has a helmet-cam?
The wheel wobbling can be attributed to incorrectly tighten of the spokes during assembly at the factory ( Can be fixed by a trained technician), If you take your front wheel off and take it to a bike shope to get it checked, they can loosen the spokes and tighten the correct way. They check the wheel to assure turns evenly. Most likely your problem will be solved.
Man i would contact the place you bought it about the front wheel. If its wobbling around like you say, and it looks like they rammed it with a forklift or something where all the scratches are. That thing is probably bent! Its likely they will send you a new wheel, if it came out of the crate like that.
@@ctbale1 I’m not sure but it feels wobbly or out of balance at around 40 mph. This last Friday I got a new wheel in the mail. Will eventually get new tires front and back
I believe what Steve here is trying to say is related to idling the air-cooled engine but not sure if he has any concrete reason to be concerned. Anyway, I have the 30mm Nibbi sitting around for the Templar (and 28mm for the TT250) so thank you for the extra motivation to get 'er done. I'm hoping it works decently just as a straight swap, but otherwise at least it's easier to work with. The TT250 is more in need though (3/4th throttle cuts out) so will start there.
Bro try smart carb s2 and you won’t need to remove the carb again plus it s self adjusting to temperature and altitude but it s up to you how much you want to invest in the bike 😬 they’re expensive.
You could balance it yourself pretty easily if you are mechanically inclined. It might not be worth it though, as you will have to get a few tools. Might be cheaper to just have someone do it.
Nice ride B. Looking forward to more videos on the X pro. I'm hopefully going to get one next year 👍

It would have to idle a very long time to really do any damage
I have a cooler on mine
I have the same motor i put into a atv

K270, are a good choice for tires. I just did mine. Did you leave the Nibbi carb as it was setup from factory? What Model/Size Nibbi?
Thank you I’ll look into those! Yes I left it alone. It’s the nibbi PE30MM carb
Thanks for sharing.

Pop on decel is too lean on the idle circuit. Go bigger on the pilot or close up your air screw 1/2 turn
The rim lock is what is making both wheels out of balance. Best to just remove them or bring the wheels to a motorcycle shop and have them balanced
I have read that when people replace the stock tires with good tires, the wobbling goes away. Good luck
That is something I’ll look into as well. I contacted PowerSports Max

Remove your rim Lock or get wheel balanced. If you spin the wheel is it "true"

Powermax replaces things like wheels under warranty. Amazon also has them for $99 tire, hub and wheel, all you need is to move over the brake disk.

Loosen a bit the screw for the push start bottom, that usually solve your sticking problem
