Adrian, most people would just say well he is nearly 90 and that's just what we have to accept now but credit to you for finding a way to make it possible for a little longer. Great care of your cows too and you deserve the good merch sales.
Adrian its great that you've given your dad back the opportunity to get out and about again. It saddens me my own father not around anymore to see what I'm up to even though for sure he be telling me I'm doing it wrong :-)
I’ve always remarked the respect you have for your parents, it’s evident throughout your videos and encouraging to see. One of the best stockmen on UA-cam. Best of luck with your new quad Adrian and family
He does visit a neighbour on it every so often, he doesn’t have to go out on the road to get there either as our land goes to his front door. He’s there as we speak
Clipping the cattle is a great job, clipping, at same job at the minute at home. Best of luck with new quad, ur father will be delighted to be going out and around again. I see at home my own father who turned 87 few weeks ago is always looking for something to do with tractor even just go look at cattle.
I did exactly the same and changed my quad for the steering. Power steering is an absolute dream especially when reversing with a lamb trailer on the back.
Hello Adrian good luck with the new quad I hope you're Dad will enjoy many a day on it my Dad loved being on massey 35 this will be my first Christmas without him miss him so much you're a credit to them take care Gerry

A lovely looking machine Adrian, quite the upgrade with the winch, hitch and accessories. Hopefully the transition to the new machine is relatively easy for your father and a wee boost for both of you I’m sure… Slainte 🍻
Hope you have all the good luck in the world with your new purchase. Your dad will like the power steering. The cows look to be in great shape I hope your caving season will be good. Thanks for taking us along. Have a great day!
Delighted to see the quad. Looks amazing and apsolutly delighted that your father will be able to tip away around on it. Wishing ye many many Happy years of motoring with it. All the best from cork
Never driven a kodiak but I have driven many grizzly quads and they can drive through anything and anywhere out on the moor/bog, and these wider tires are the best upgrade you can do
The Grizzly is the same machine just a higher ground clearance and geared slightly higher for trail riding, it would be very common in the US. Little bit more expensive too. Yes tyres make a machine for sure 👌👍
@@IFarmWeFarm Chuckle that sounds familiar, don’t forget though mate, time flies, in forty years you will be doing the same thing…. pity the son in law 😄
Bejasus puting father up on 700 cc great. Job enjoy watching your farming from NY some looking yoke fair play ya for looking out for father he some fun that make sure turn down throttle on him
Aw he took to it like a duck to water, I kept an eye on him for a while just to make sure he didn’t sow the boot “ he has a habit of that 🙈” it’s an easy quad to ride once you get a hang of it, belt drive is more responsive for sure
Cracking quad there... make sure we see your dad's 😁. Your old bike looks new and I'm sure the new owner will need to keep looking after it 😉😆. Check the fuel filter on your quad( you will probably never need it because of the amount of use it gets ) get a water filter glass on there and drain the crud out once in a while saving the carb/injectors. My suzuk didn't even have a decent filter from new and had to replace the carb it's a old bike now but still going strong. Stay safe 🏴
I remember when I was on the farm we used to have a couple of cows with one eye that had caught I think it was called new forest disease which if not treated quickly caused blindness in the eye I believe it was something to do with grass seeds. Love the ATV And another great video so well explained great.
Nice of you to do that for your dad Adrian at the end if the day family is the most important thing. By the way you made a good call new Hondas are absolutely rubbish compared to your old one. Best if luck with the new wheels 👍
Ah yes, the famous reverse mooo-hawk! The height of winter bovine fashion from coiffeur vache Adrian. (I hope I translated that correctly... it sounds so much more posh in french.) That's a really nice quad. I've always been partial to Yamaha motorcycles and ATVs. Best wishes from the US!

Well thought of getting a upgrade so your Dad can still get around. Just a thought do they not supply roll over protection. Here in Australia it is the law all new quads have to have them fitted because too many deaths from roll overs and people getting killed by getting trapped underneath the quad. All the major brands threw their toys out of the cot and pulled out of Australia. That has opened up the market for less known brands to fill the void and sales are booming. The wife should have gone another step up and got heated hand cover as well as mirrors given your inclement weather in Ireland. Thanks for the videos and have a safe and Merry Christmas to you and your family
Hi John No laws here regarding roll over bars, I did read about them though and found out that Europe won’t support them as they think the bar itself can causes serious injury! It’s an unusual one. I never actually see one in person but did see the price which was insane, that’s to do with import charges I guess.
