hi friends ☺️ i use the language “get rid of” a lot in this video but wanted to point out that all of the things that were still usable got posted on facebook buy nothing groups, offered to friends or family, or donated! highly encourage you to do the same when decluttering ☺️♥️
I need to do this so badly and doing it a little day by day makes it way less daunting. What a wonderful idea! I'll have to try it in March as it's a 31 day-er.
I feel like I get the same dopamine rush from decluttering that I get from shopping. Especially if that declutter comes with some level of reorganizing. This also reminded me that the back of my car is full of books I need to donate. 😅
So happy u enjoyed the decluttering experience. I myself have a lot of sorting out to do starting tomorrow, it’s hard work but the relief a good cleaning and clearing can bring u both mentally and physically once it’s done is worth it every time. Great video. Take care
Really glad with this video! I got surgery today to remove all 4 of my wisdom teeth and I'm suffering, once again your content is a source of comfort ❤
I love your channel and decluttering content so this was a great surprise! I'm proud of you for doing this, hopefully you find your space less overwhelming from now on
Yes, I love this! I'm doing a similar challenge in February but am replacing some of the days with chores that I need to do (cleaning the back of my fridge/coils, decluttering my digital TBR on Goodreads/Storygraph) and the day's challenge is randomly pulled out of a container.
I loved this video 😂❤ I love organizing, so this is really fun. Personally I use the Marie Kondo method and it has helped me a lot over the years. Not only with getting rid of stuff but also buying things.
You did an amazing job! I absolutely love doing decluttering projects and vlogging it haha. And getting rid of a piece of furniture makes such a big difference :- D
Love it! Also there were some days that based on cadence, I really wanted to say "and a partridge in a pear tree." Am I the only one? Happy it helped your mindset! I could probably use with doing this but I feel like I am quite often pretty ruthless with getting rid of things that no longer serve a purpose for me. Buuuuuut that all tends to happen on one angry clean out day. Or consumable/usable items, I've been working my way through. Like matches, why do I have so many aesthetic matches? So I put them all in one place to use them up, so I have to acknowledge them.
omg i love this for you!! So satisfying to watch and you did so well! And how good does it feel post-declutter, just knowing all the stuff is out of the drawers/cabinets feels so freeing
i need to do this but trying to figure out where everything should go is the part that stresses me out. i wish there was a service where i could be like “here is a bunch of stuff, please fix it, sell it, donate it, whatever”
I love this idea!! What a fun video. You are making me want to do my own challenge, although I’m not sure what my boyfriend will have to say about that as he lives with me too 🤔😂
I donated my sushi rolling mat last month. Made sushi with plastic wrap and it came out better than with the mat! No need for all the kitchen gadgets imo.
Great idea! I only disagree on one point: owning a lot isn’t a privilege-not having to own a lot is. Resisting consumption is a challenge. Thanks for sharing, and all the best to you!
This is the most random comment ever, but for ingrown hairs, my husband just taught me a trick: neosporin and a piece of wound tape. Both things most people already have in their medicine cabinet without needing to spend more money or have more overly specialized things. Sorry for the randomness 😂
@@kdspriggs8 not really, but i feel like it represents a time in my life when i had a very narrow understanding of feminism and i used it as a buzzword to sound and look more interesting. still definitely a feminist but i feel like i’ve outgrown the part of my life where i REALLY insisted on flaunting it despite not totally understanding intersectionality and nuances!

I love your hair! Its so beautiful; the curls on Day 11 are perfect 😊
Oooh, this is such a good idea for spring cleaning!
Omg as an organizational girlie this was SO fun to watch!
I don't have enough things to do a big declutter anymore so watching other people do it is fun!
I feel like I get the same dopamine rush from decluttering that I get from shopping. Especially if that declutter comes with some level of reorganizing.

I'm def doing this in march!! Thank you for the inspiration! 😍♥️
Your commentary makes me laugh out loud 😂Working on my own decluttering journey

The happiness I felt seeing this notification is indescribable 💕💕💕💕
Ooh, I love me a good decluttering video. Thanks for sharing! I really need to do something like this. I have way too much stuff.
Not me watching this, inspired, and wanting to get rid of everything I own on day 1 alone
I did this too and found myself digging up the most random chopsticks and cables and sewing needles in the end 😂 why do we collect so much crap 😂😂
if i hadn't just gone through a ton of my stuff recently i would absolutely do this challenge myself
I love this idea! Whenever you got rid of something big it made me so happy lol I just imagined all the space you now have😂
You're making me want to declutter my clothes! It feels so good to declutter :)
i always find these so satisfying🙂↕️ i’m moving house soon so really need to do this !!!

Hell yeah! Congrats Whitney!
Hi, Whitney!
I made a huge decluttering at the end of 2024. Your challenge was great! I'm going to do the same as soon as possible!
Loved this!

Same! I have a bunch of "decluttered" stuff in my apartment. Getting rid of it all seems like so much effort.
