This was a big hit when it cake out here in the states. The video was playing all the time on MTV (when they still did that some).
It is super catchy and easy to sing along to.
I would check out another one by them (if I remember correctly) called Counting Stars.

This song is self-depreciating. It is the band joking about doubt they’ve received from critics. The critics have a powerful influence over consumers, hence, all the right friends, all the right moves. The band is sort of mocking the critics who told them they were going to fail at music, hence, we’re going down. Are we just sinking in the ocean of faces? This is asking the consumers if they stand out or if they are just another typical wannabe. Around that term, they are asking the consumers if they think the band is good enough to make it in music industry.
And super ironic given how many hits Ryan Tedder has written for Beyoncé, Adele, Taylor Swift…
