@@BernStitches I will certainly let you know if I kit her up😊I'm totally on a mission to finish my HAED right now. I just discovered Pattern Keeper and it's making the stitching on that project go by so much faster, loving it!

Sorry for the late reply on this! For some reason, YT never adds this on my comments section when its a reply from a comment :(
I've heard very good things about Pattern Keeper, I'm glad it is helping you with your stitching! I love the features on these apps where you can see all the symbols in the chart which helps avoid mistakes. I use something similar called Cross Stitch Saga since I don't have an Android.

@@BernStitches Ooooh, I've never heard of Cross Stitch Saga.....isn't it great that we have all of these tools and toys to feed our addiction😂

You can slip mirabilia chart out from the side of envelope and that leaves seal intact! ❤️

Hi Bern, do you use thread magic on all the threads you use? Does it leave any kind of residue? I've only got beeswax but I haven't even used it yet 😅
I'm about to start on DMC satin threads which apparently can be a nightmare to use. Just wondering whether thread magic will do its magic on it 🤔

Hi! Not sure if you saw my latest video (for some reason my comments were disabled but I re-enabled it now!). I rarely use my thread magic, usually when I use really long thread to avoid it from tangling. So far, I haven’t seen any weird residue, it just makes my thread really slick. But it might also depend on how many times you run it through - I only do mine once and I usually wash my projects afterwards. I’ve heard beeswax also works really well, so you probably can’t go wrong with either one.

@@CaffeinatedWarlord I love satin threads and adore the effect they give. "Pyrex Stitches" has a great video tutorial on the best way to work with these sometimes finicky threads. She easily made me fall in love with these fibers! Hope it helps🤞

I hope that when you stitch her face/arms you bring the camera this close so I can see exactly how you stitch it. What type of fabric are you using? Happy stitching!

Hi! I actually finished this already :) i posted a beading tutorial a few weeks ago which has some close ups. If not, I should have a new Flosstube video as well. The project was stitched on the called for fabric: 32 count Chestnut Linen and I stitched the skin 2x2

I have my first Mirabilla pattern van I stitch on 14 16 or 18 count aida can u give any tips on startin it ad I have had thos pattern 5 yrs and nervous to start her

Hi! Thank you for watching. I think either 14 or 16 count Aida would work well with Mirabilia. Does your pattern have a lot of beads? 18 count might be too small for some of the beads so I recommend either 14 or 16 count.
For starting, I recommend starting in the middle or if you have tried before, you can grid them fabric if you like to start in the corner. No right or wrong way of starting!

'Could I still do skin 2/1on 14/16 ct aida

    • @BernStitches

On 14/16 count, the stitches will be over 1. So if you stitch the skin using 2 strands, that is 2 over 1 which will look like a regular cross. If you’re referring to stitching the skin 2 over 1 or 1 over 1 like in linen, you will need to pierce a hole in the middle of Aida to match that stitch which could be tough
