First
We love watching your videos! You and Brady are "beasts" lifting all that heavy lumber. There is some very nice lumber and so happy for you to have this great find! Best of luck to you both! I hope your shoulder heals quickly and Brady gets over his itchy skin. It could be from the wood.
Thanks. My shoulder is getting better.
Brady's rash got better although he got it again out at the Ranch the other day. It's gone again.
Clint............Its a darn good thing that you have that SUPERMAN there to help you do all that hard labor. LOL
That's for sure. He is a true blessing. After injuring my shoulder he just basically loaded everything in the trailer on his own. He figures it's all a workout.
It is a true treasure. And all for free. Even the hardware is in perfect condition for its age, and it is excellent quality too, and it is very expensive these days. I am watching a guy in the UK building his own pole barn from scratch, meaning that he also mills his own wood. I think that his barn is a little bigger but he roughly estimated that if he had to buy all the lumber that it would have cost him at least 35.000 dollar. And that is just the lumber. (I roughly converted his estimate in British pounds to US dollars)
It really is a blessing. You're right about the hardware. It is so expensive. Now the wood that I was planning on using for the barn can be used to build other things as well. It's too bad that more of the siding couldn't be salvaged. But, I can use that for other projects now as well.
That will look great on your farm!!
Yep, pretty exciting.
Your new house is looking good. I watched your run through before you left back to Omaha.
Image quality looking real good today. What camera are you using?
Either Clint’s iPhone XR or my iPhone 12
