Loved the Cobra since I was a kid, might save up and get one. Never thought I could own one but seeing someone else have one makes you think it's possible. It's kind of stupid but possible!

Bought a Cobra recently. Pearlescent orange (Lamborghini colour) with black Le Mans stripes. Absolutely stunning car. They are bloody loud though, 5.7 V8 Chevrolet engine in mine. They take a while to start too. Carburettor engine and no choke! The neighbours love me!!

Milkshake and classic car combo is always a bad idea 😁 Once I went to drive thru with my E21 BMW to get mshake but nocupholders. I said myself drive slow, while getting into the car and guess what, 10 second later, I forgot the milkshake and slided a little bit on the corner. Result ; the car still smells like strawberry...

They have right hand drive Cobras? I didn’t know there was a such thing as an AC Cobra in RHD. Now I want one!!
Well, it does make sense considering the AC Cobra is an English car, and all cars in England are RHD. (I'm guessing you're surprised that there are LHD Ferraris, as well). Also, for anyone who says that the Cobra is American: The AC Cobra is based on the AC Ace, which is 100% British. The only thing American about the Cobra is the Engine.

Beautiful cobra, the chrome looks well preserved, do you use a wax to protect it?
Unfortunately the chrome isn't all as it seems in the video.
After driving it for one winter season, the chrome around the rims is stained and corroded. Needs polishing up again.
Back in my detailing days I used autosol to rejuvenate chrome and dodojuice 'metal of honour' metal wax to seal and protect the brightwork and ali on my client's classic cars which always produced a long lasting mirror finish and was surprisingly resistant to staining..
You can also use ali tin foil with cola or water to clean heavily corroded chrome as it is soft and will not scratch.

What gear ratio have you got on your cobra? I've got a 2.88:1 - but you seem to be changing gear much more than I do? I literally only use 1st 2nd and 3rd lol. Have to be doing 110mph+ to comfortably sit in 4th.
I don't know what my ratio is, but it is very short for sure.
