I have the same lighter technique. Zippo flame is softer and cooler. Good for the touch ups and quick relights.
I do the same thing with my lighters 😅 I just like a soft flame for the char light and a zippo for re-lights

Hey Brother, Happy Sunday & how about them Hawks!! Huge ES fan here, I’m slowly working through as much of his catalog as I can get my hands on. Thanks for hitting this one, it’s on my list for sure! You should try 4th Gen Twilight Mixture, I’ve been in love with it lately. I’m usually Burley, VA Perique type of guy so when I run into a Oriental forward blend it sticks out; & in this case in an intoxicating way!

NEW SUB HERE! Besides looking for a substitute for St. James Flake, the Navy Flake is super spicy in the nose. Hits me like Wasabi 😂

Only place i can get PS tobaccos in bulk mailed to my state sadly is Boswells. But they always have Bullseye Flake, and Navy Flake. I saw this one on there too, so i could get this in bulk easily. Not sure if the price is the same though. 😊

This one is my favorite! I always buy the 24oz package with the original box from Smokingpipes. Do you recommend some other Stokkebye products or VP blends similar to this one?
Yes I do! I’d say my favorite Virginia flake is PS Navy flake. It’s absolutely delicious.
If youve ever had St. James Flake by Samuel Hoggarth, is this one close? Its hard to get St. James Flake and i NEED a substitute haha 😂

Not hated per se but definitely many that I haven’t enjoyed very much.
I travel for work, and although Washington is absolutely gorgeous and full of trails to walk, it SUCKS for tobacco and smoking. Most counties have laws against smoking in public on top of that.
Oh I remember very well. I love a lot of things about Washington but for all the good, there seems to be twice the bad.
Just came here to say that yeah, the Gov't really f***ing sucks.
The literal WORST.
The last time I ordered bulk from Pipes and Cigars-
They sent my 4 ounces of J4 burly in 4 pre-made 1 ounce bags that literally had faded print and dust on them-
Disgusting and disrespectful.
I did not think it was even possible to dry out and ruin a Sutliff aromatic to the degree that I received mine in.
I will never forgive them for being so thoughtless as to assume I would be satisfied paying for floor sweepings.
Yeah. I have had more than one issue with them. Same story for so many others.
