I wouldnt say the ogres are really bad guys. Probably would've put an undead faction in there instead.
Ogres just want whats best for ogres, same as empire and cathay. Its just the ogres eat people. Sometimes.

Gonna be honest there was bad communication from the mortal side, the ogres and specially the skaven got rolled over alone, though that team for skaven was dommed to fail already, probably was a for fun match above everything else.
