Nora, you need a shirt that says "I don't work out, I have plants, BIG PLANTS"
The calathea looks great! I was on team "no" based on the poll and the single photo, but I did say that it depended on the other things that you see with the plant. Now that you've given the description of yellowing leaves and slowed growth AND we saw how stuck she was in the pot, it is most definitely a YES and I am happy you recognized your beauty needed a bigger home!! Who would have thought that one day a tiny little 10cm pot of orbifolia could grow to a beautiful, large, floor plant!!!

I love the T-shirt idea!!! I should get you to give me more ideas! the photo on the poll was a bit deceiving. I knew it needed a repot as soon as I saw those yellowing leaves, and boy was I right!

I can't believe how big and beautiful that Calathea has grown! It's absolutely fantastic! You truly are The Queen of leca! And, seems to me, The Queen of plant growth in general as all of your plants are amazing. LOL

Thanks Dolly, it really ins important to rmember that when plants are growing in leca. Visible roots does not always mean a repot is needed.

Why ccs/special sauce in reservoir rather than usual nutrient as the plant already has water roots, l am confused. Is this necessary for every repot - back to basics and for how long.

I don't think anyone but yourself can remove your comment. That would enable some horrible censorship and this is not what UA-cam or its users stand for.
Edit: It could have been reported by several users, but if you were just asking a friendly question I doubt that happened

@@TheLecaQueen definitely mine wasn't negative.I watch your channel since day 1 and it is strange why UA-cam deleted it.Anyways,i was saying that i adore your orbifolia.I bought an orbiforia a few months ago,i transfer her in leca and it is dying day by day.I have 200 plants in leca and this one is my pain in the @ss.The plant became mushy from the base of the leaves..Is it delicate in washing off from the soil?I dont know if i did something wrong with her.Last week i bought a second one and i am afraid to transfer in leca but i hate soil indoor.I don't know how to treat her in cleaning process.Any advice? My regards from Athens,Greece.
