Nora, I just love you… I discovered your channel last weekend. Now I’m watch bingeing all your videos and enjoying every bit. Specifically the earrings video 😝I have learned a lot from you. I want to be just like you when I grow up.😁
This is right on time, I am doing this with my spider as well today! I was wondering about the tubers. They have been in water for a couple of weeks and I am putting them in leca. Thank you !
Hi Nora! I do have a curly spider plant....mine tends to brown esp after I bought it...not sure if it is just the plant itself.....it looks do so nice after the repot! Nice to see it loves the lecca :)....beautiful roots.....please give us an update in a few months :)....your syngoniums are so pretty too...love from MN
Wow. I love to look at such healthy and shiny plants. Curly spider plant is s cute. Inspired by your leca journey, I am on my leca journey. Already got various money plants cuttings rooted. Syngoniums and spider plants are my next goal. Do you have a list of plants that do not....absolutely do not like in leca at all. I will not even try them. Thanks for lovely video.
Thank you for your kind words and for watching and subscribing, much appreciated! I do not have a list, my goal is to get everything to grow in leca so I am trying, trying and trying...(I did have Maidenhair fern and string of pearls in leca, they did very well and then they died. I am still trying to figure it out. I know it is not the leca, it is my conditions.
Good day, can a money tree be placed in leca. And how can I propagate a leaf that has fallen off my money tree plant. Thank you for all your plant information. Over the weekend I'm transforming my dirt plants to leca. Thank you
Hi Nora, does your AV produce flowers when in Leca? Mine are in self-watering pots but refuse to bloom. I am in Canberra so great that you are in Oz. Any idea when GT root zone may be available? Great instructions!
Morning, loving you planting mat. What kind of LECA do you use? the balls are almost uniform. I use a good brand that has no uniformity and the balls are larger.
Thank you! I love my little mat, it is so pretty and very functional. Check it out here tinyurl.com/5dp7wpz7 About the leca, I have a Q & A video out tomorrow where I discuss the different kinds of leca and I recommend you watch that for a better explanation than I could do here.
Hello, it is pretty cold here in winter as well. My home is not as warm as I would like it to be but we manage! Check out this video that shows what my home is like. ua-cam.com/video/q-ShyKOQqYE/v-deo.html
Those roots on the spider plant are the most beautiful roots I’ve ever seen on a plant
Yes, yes, and yes!!!!😍
Thank you Nora, I am now empowered to do the work on my spider in need of cleanup & repot! 💚

Hi Nora- I am wanting to convert my spider plant to leca. Should I cut back some of the soil roots after all of the dirt is removed?
They are a bit insane!

Oh yes, my bigger Violets produce flowers all the time. No news on root zone yet. I will keep you posted.
Nora .you have been a naughty girl...I know you will do better...lol...love your honesty and putting it out there
I know right!!! Sometimes some plants do not get the best care 😊
Wow, amazing rehab of the spider plant. Do you think okay to retain so much roots considering the loss of so much of the top
Thank you. I think the number of roots is fine. The leaves will be back in no time!

@@TheLecaQueen Wow 60 for a mat? I purchased two for way cheaper on Amazon and shared one. They are nice and big, but thanks.
Do you recommend the spider plant for newish plant parents
I certainly do, they are so easy in leca.
Hi Nora, was wondering what conditions you have your home please. I'm in The Riverina in NSW and it gets pretty cold here too. Like temperature etc

Be lucky that you don't live in northern Ireland. Never summer , never winter , just rain and storm 320+ days a year
Hi queen
What type of fertilizer do you use to have giant pothos
Hello, I use a nutrient called Foliage Focus
@@TheLecaQueen you are the best😊🌹
I killed my mother spider plant when I put her into leca. 😢 Luckily she gave me lots of pups. They are thriving in leca.
So sorry to hear about that mother plant, I am glad the pups are here to save the day!
I find my curly Sue spider plant more finicky than the common one! You did and amazing job on her,she will love you for it! 🕷🪴 Natalie
Oh thank you Natalie!
@@TheLecaQueen Did I get the name right? I think ‘curly Sue ‘ is a succulent?? 🤔
@@pudik2008 it is Bonnie, but who cares! I know what you meant 😏 😌 😉
