They lied about having a "new netcode", and using an "old netcode" in the closed beta - EA used the exact same lie during their BF2042 beta, where they lied that not just the netcode, but the whole game's version was an "outdated one", and they "have" a supposedly new and fixed one - like a compitent developer, would be dumb enough to use an older alpha version of their game for public tests with real players. And the EA fanboys bought that lie - so stupid!
i havent played xdefiant (cause the animations seemed kinda awkward to me). other vids about this game make it seem like game is the holy chalice, but your vid really seems like a very honest take! i also agree with what you said about ultimates in fps games. Really great vid btw!

In theory it has pretty much everything it needs to "kill cod" but in practice the game feels worse than some of the Roblox shooters I've played. I think feel for the game is one of the biggest issues plaguing modern shooters.
Never was - check out XDefiant's initial reveal trailer from a year ago, on Ubisoft's channel. Their own community made fun of the game, and destroyed them in the comment section. The only ones who think XDefiant is a AAA game, are the COD fanboys who's streamers always manage to overhype them for mediocrity - they convince them every year the new COD is gonna be the "best COD ever", they now did it for a second time this year with XDefiant.

You guys have to remember this game is free to play, you have to pay 60$ for other fps games. If they had the budget for this game, it would for sure be the cod killer
Ubisoft has a billion dollar budget - they've been milking people with their "live service" (live failiure) games for 4 years now. Stop telling us to "cut some slack" for Ubisoft of all - they've been slacking off since 2013, and manage to get pre-orders with trashier games than Activision could even dream of. Shatterline for example, with its small ukrainian studio in a warzone btw, already has coop, more specialists and multiplayer modes than XDefiant.

Also f2p games end up being more expensive than full prices games anyway. Most games make their profit from micro transactions now which seeing as how XDefiant is a live service game thats where their money is going to come from
This is what I hate about companies sponsoring streams. The streamers just hype the shit up and say nothing but good things about the game to mislead people. It's like the Six Days in Fallujah game. This one streamer has been doing sponsored streams for it practically every day, and any form of criticism that gets said in chat gets timed out or banned.

The only reason this game is getting hyped is because all the streamers and YTers are sick of COD so they are trying to hype this game up.. but its very rough and needs a ton of work.
To me this beta was much worse than the alpha. I could only play 4-5 games, because I got annoyed how I lost every single gunfight even tho I was shooting first (atleast I thought)
@@JungleForce i was dropping 30 bombs almost every game, you gotta play these maps as if you were playing og mw2 trust me it makes it a lot easier to win gunfights if you actually take your time before jumping around the corner like a maniac.
@@JungleForce I think the graphics in this game are functional unlike mw2 it's not hard to spot enemies and the maps can be more unique and don't have to focus on realism it makes every map more iconic and not all just blend together
Graphics are crap - game demands a more powerfull Core i7 4790k than MW2's Core i7 4770, more ram 12>16 and same graphics card GTX1060 - you can just buy COD with the spare change from the PC upgrades.
you make good points but you still fail to realize its a FREE game that is still on beta. its not going to be a perfect triple A title until they start monetizing to make better/bigger updates
Sure, I think f2p gives more leeway than if this was a full price game. I just think when a game comes out it should have enough content regardless of price. It’s going up against the dominant fps for like 20 years it should come out swinging. I think games should release finished as well.
Game is trash, movement is trash and there's literally zero incentive to get a high kill game. They just give "killstreak" rewards for free in this game. Overhyped and boring. Hitreg is terrible too.
For me personally, if they can get rid off a lot of the jank, it definitely can replace CoD

I guess my point was it should be good at launch. All COD has to do it be decent, a new IP needs to be good to great.
Gun sounds are awful as well. You don't feel like you are shooting a real gun at all, it's like a fucked up paintball gun sound.
