One Cut of Fabric Pouch Technique - Beginners' project

This is the basic way to make a zippered pouch using a fabric with a simple design that can be folded without making such design look upside down.
This particular pouch measures 7 1/2" x 3 1/2" . You can easily change the dimensions, but it is important to keep in mind that you have to add about 1/4" on each side for seam allowance.
MATERIALS FOR THIS POUCH:
- Main fabric: 1 piece 8" wide x 8 1/2" long
- Lining fabric: 1 piece 8" wide x 8 1/2" long
- Interfacing of your choice for the main fabric, I used fusible fleece.
- Ribbon, a bit longer than 8" (optional).
- 1 zipper longer than 8 ", I recommend 10"
