Not gonna lie, Krenik's coverup explanation of project stardust being starlight beacon of on steroids sounds pretty awesome. I could totally see that happening in a wholesome time line. Maybe one where Papatine is killed in the fist few years of the empire. The jedi return, somehow discover the deathstar plans, capture it, repurpose it, and make it their new home

The Jedi repurposing the Death Star as a Jedi ark sound pretty metal. Had a similar idea of Rey’s or Lukes Jedi order using a lucre hulk as hub/ark/temple. Where they can escape or travel the galaxy.
This reminds me of the Foundation books. Hari Seldon developed a mathematical model that predicted the long-term ruin of the galactic Imperium. He was put on trial, challenged to explain his model to the average citizen. He countered the average citizen wouldn't have a clue how the steam engine works, despite being a fundamental part of history.
Whatever’s left of the Jedi order can’t operate it alone, need the help of rebels but not enough of them ether, make this a petition for him to do this idea

With half of his star destroyer damaged or destroyed it makes absolutely no sense for vader stand around like an idiot just waiting to die. Vader just isn't that stupid. He'd at least try to escape at the very least.
Honestly yeah. This should have still been a war, with vader being sent out on a terror run against the rebels.
Realistically he’s probably screwed. He probably won’t have time to escape considering how big star destroyers are and the damage will probably block off a lot of paths.
This is Star Wars though so it wouldn’t be that bad to just hand wave it to force bs keeping him alive.

What happened to the Jedi survivors. Since Kenobi didn't die and both him&Yoda would had initially sensed Vader's death and then Palpatine's death too. Most of the other trained Force users will feel the reduction of the dark side and will come out of hiding not afraid of even the surviving Inquisitors. Since there's no Palpatine, Exagol&Maw Research site won't get its regular logistical support. Also with Palpatine dead, you'd think that Kenobi would sneak back into the Imperial Palace/Jedi Temple. Palpy likes to keep the Jedi artifacts as trophies and this is something that Kenobi&Yoda can use to rebuild the Jedi order.
That's Plot Armor like the Rebels fighting the Empire when the team present are the protagonists!!

This is one of my favourites you’ve ever done! Great writing
This was amazing. I’ve been a fan of your videos for a while and it’s always fun to see your interesting SW what if’s. It was also fun to see the Rebel Alliance destroying the Death Star at Scarif getting shown some love. This is definitely an interesting scenario and it should definitely get shown some more love. Plus I think we can all agree that this is probably one of the most interesting/unique scenarios in SW…but it’s a welcome one. Also if the Rebel Alliance did destroy the Death Star early…then it would definitely be an interesting opportunity to show another side of the story and make it even more interesting. It was also nice to see the Rebel Alliance gain this early victory have a huge impact on the galaxy getting shown some love, since they usually never gets these huge victories that much and it was a nice change of pace to see them take the initiative and definitely made us all impressed. Plus it was nice to see the Rebels get that opportunity to prevent a major threat from emerging…afterall it was nice to see them have a solid plan, afterall this was probably the smartest course of action they could take, so it was nice to see them come up with this plan to shift the power balance of the galaxy, since they know that there’s still opportunity and hope in the galaxy. Also it’s always nice to see just how determined the Rebels truly are. Great job as always and I can’t wait to see what you do next.
I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s:
1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling.
2) What if Ezra was a Mandalorian…something like how both his parents were Mandalorians who left Mandalore and went to start their own lives (you could still keep most of Ezra’s backstory) and potentially make Ezra and Sabine a couple (since Disney won’t, we have too…#ezrabine4ever.
3) What if Jango Fett and/or Boba Fett Joined the Republic…I think something interesting could happen with this.
4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st)

This fan theory doesn't make sense because the Senators had no power at this point and couldn't affect any change even if they wanted to. It is why mere hours after the battle of Scarif, the Emperor disbanded the imperial senate.

The senate had still power both legal and due to being in existence for 10.000, there is a reason that Uncle Palpy and co. tried to cover up their biggest crime and secret project in canon and he disbanded the senate because he thought that the DS will have keep the moff and governor in line through fear (as it's the Sith way) with this early victory the Emperor is saddled with the senate to govern and the administration of the Empire

What if Naare turns Rowan. Having the kid that can sense the kyber saber and use the light Saber styles of multiple Jedi including but not limited to anakin Skywalker and mace windu would make for one useful Darksider. Plus Naare seems to actually care about rowan and has some sort of attachment (she definitely doesn't care about his siblings though). Plus with the kyber saber she could destroy the emperor like she wanted.

So here is a crazy one. What if Hondo Ohnaka became emperor. In my mind, something like this would come from helping Maul take over the empire from Palpatine and then betrayed him. I'm not creative so if anyone wants to joke around with something here you go.

Mon Moffma left the imperial senate after being labeled a traitor 2 years before the battle of Yavin.
As we know darth vader was a natural engineer and could use mechaguru or whatever so what if he used skill to create nanobots to repair his lungs and burns while also making limbs that could conduct the force to make lightning. This could relate to inquisitor baris as she used nanobots in the bomb and he may remember nanobots and their uses. He could could also conduct experiments diguised as torture to fool sidious, learning to heal wounds, make force sensitive droids/limbs and using nano bots to manipulate mididclorians to strip or enhance the force in individuals.
What I was thinking was that he used nanobots to remove scar tissue especially around the lungs and he would be dipped in bacta or bacta would be applied this would allow him breath which means he can meditate more deeply. And for the limbs, it is possible to make material force sensitive and I was thinking he make limbs skeletal looking like in attack of the clones but would then cover the we either grafed flesh from his body or flesh made from his blood and other ingredients like perhaps kyber crystal this would make the force flow from him easier and perhaps with the sith alchemy in the limbs making his force lightning more powerful. Basically an uber vader who is perhaps stronger than full potential anakin.
What if anikan took a new student whos master just died but was close to being a knight because yoda wanted anikan to teach her to let go and hopefully he himself would learn this lesson and yoda wanted to respect that Anikan should have been a master if ashoka didnt leave

What is Mon Motma doing as a senator in 0 BBY ??? In rebels, which happens before rogue one, Mon Motma leave the senate to permanently join the rebellion
Here's a bit of a cross-over idea: what if the force granted him a vision where he is given a code he is willing to follow. One where he can be himself, have attachments, and emotions. The code I have in mind comes from the movie Dragonheart.

The thought of The Death Star being sort of like Babylon 5 alone is worth a whole ass what if.
What if Anakin was trained by Bastillia Shan. Also what if Anakin was sent to kayshaxx instead of Yoda. Also what if Anakin looked after Bobba Fett after genosis

Or anakin became a healer either before or after his mother death could be related to his friendship with offee or alternatively what if he was trained by tra sa who taught windu and actually did not forbid attachment as shown by her relationship with tholme , they could become like a pseudo parents to anakin and train him away from the temple in azati martial arts and from trasa the living force as she is a plant lady so imagine anakin controlling plant life.

What if Tarkin didn’t die at Yavin. Like what if Tarkin at the last minute, was called by the emperor to give his report to him and he demanded to be present. So he still sent Vader and the Death Star after the rebels at yavin and when it blew up, Tarkin adds more stuff to his Tarkin Document.
What if Starkiller Base was the Death Star?
After seeing this one and the previous one with Tarkin, that got me thinking...
What if Tarkin survived the Death Star explosion over at Yavin, like what if he decided to escape to his shuttle and it took off seconds before the battlestation blew up?
Either Sidious or Vader would've killed him afterwards, he was lucky to have died in the Death Star

Well the galaxy's screwed in this situation. Because Abboloth is not going to be stopped.
While I find it a bit hard to believe that the people would buy the claims of Stardust being a new STarlight beacon, especially with what the Alliance Senators presented, the rest sounds interesting, especially with, kinda like how the Executor was destroyed more or less by accident in Episode VI and also damaged the Death Star, Palpatine, who may well have won otherwise, was taken out by dumb luck. This one had a lot of back and forth, so it seemed at one moment that the Alliance would win and the next the Empire would win. Even Palpatine's defeat didn't seem a victory for the Alliance.
I do find it ironic, but a bit realistic, that Palpatine keeping the Senate around would ultimately backfire on the Empire. The Galactic Senate in the waning days of the Republic was largely full of self-serving jerks, with it starting to come around to support the Alliance and freedom (to the point of him wanting to disband it before it became a means for the Alliance to take him out politically), here, after purging the decent Alliance sympathizers (BTW, how did Leia slip out of that one, she was a Senator, yet wasn't killed along with with her adoptive father), it became more like the Galactic Republic Senate had been, which ultimately worked against Emperor Krennic. That was a stroke of GENIUS in writing that, especially as Palpatine's hands were tied, and had he tried to disband the Senate at that point, they would have turned against him politically when he was in a lot of hot water So, long term, he loses either way. That was a big reason why he really NEEDED the Death Star, or at least a strong Imperial military and an autocratic system to replace the Senate (not that that was foolproof, as that also worked against the Empire after Palpatine's demise on Endor.) Tarkin even outright said as much "Fear will keep the systems in line, fear of this battle station."
Also, I do agree, that without the destruction of Alderaan, which really exposed the Empire for what it was, here the Alliance wouldn't do as well politically. I'd long argued that Palpatine was banking on the Death Star being around long term after Alderaan was destroyed, and when it wasn't, that in and of itself was the beginning of the end for the Empire.
Also, it's interesting that Luke here doesn't really join the Jedi, as, without being called into the war, he really never felt the need to. He might support the Alliance behind the scenes, being with Leia, but he never saw stuff like Owen and Beru be murdered by the Empire or Obi-wan cut down by Vader. However, it's possible that Ahsoka may have restarted the Order.
Considering that the Galactic Civil War goes on here about three times longer than the Clone Wars did, excepting the massive loss of life from Alderaan in the original timeline, which didn't happen here, it actually looks like a much bloodier war.
Also, was Emperor Krennic killed or did he just preside over the Imperial Remnant until his natural death?
I do wonder, though, if Takin would have tried to retreat personally. After all, in canon, someone suggested him to it and he scoffed it off as "retreat, in our moment of triumph?" There, however, he had the Alliance HQ within firing range, and could put the Alliance down for good. Here, however, the Empire just got made a fool of and he may have known the plans were taken, unless they didn't, as Vader didn't see them fleeing with the plans.
