1985: St. Louis Cardinals vs Washington Redskins Remastered NFL Highlights

- The '85 Redskins turned their season around, clocking the Cardinals, 27-10, on Monday Night Football. 5 picks by the defense and a bruising running attack proved too much for Neil Lomax, Roy Green and the redbirds from St. Louis. The secret highlight in here is Gary Clark's first TD catch, made in front of a national TV audience and a much-missed joyous RFK crowd.
Remastered from a beautiful VHS recording with love and a souped-up series-9 Radeon graphic processor.

I can remember when this area used to be crazy about the Skins. 😔
I'm 50 - in the 80's the Redskins were as Marquee /recognized franchises as the Celtics or Lakers Yankees or Canadians etc. In the NFL they certainly were !! Name or no name it's a shame this team hasn't done anything in 30 years.
I miss the old NFC East..
Didier was one of the most underrated recieving TEs of that era. He rarely put up big numbers but when used he could come up with a big play.
Those cardinal uniforms aren’t much different than today but for some reason they are much better
They’re simpler. No cluttering embellishments. Straight stripes, standard font for numbers. Classic is better. Always.
I agree ! Simpler the better. I do like this version of the Cardinals uniforms
Really Really miss these days !!!!!!!
Thanks this is great
IIRC, the Cardinals were 3-1 and on top of the NFC East, but after the MNF debacle in Washington, their season went kapooey.
Thank You 🙏
I don't remember that break away run from Riggins. That was probably his second longest of his career.
ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?
Cardinals- Nah
'Cept for OJ Anderson. Poor guy could run like hell but languished on so many mediocre Cardinals teams
Lol
Wow. A Malcolm Barnwell sighting @2:06
9:15 Riggins
