Is this all you need to know for aqa because why is has the textbook got other things like homologous characteristics etc , I’m generally confused does anyone else agree?
Hi! A lot of the time, the domain isn't included, so this diagram starts at the kingdom (Animalia). So if you go through the order of classification (kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus species), then the class is Aves. The three domains that exist are eukarya, bacteria (sometimes referred to as prokarya) and archaea, so if they aren't included, then it starts at kingdom. Hope this makes sense!
@@SilaErnis-di9wu Well, it's almost a general knowledge question. But in regard to determining it, presumably the student will have learned the sequence of taxonomic ranks from most to least inclusive (Domain to Species) prior to being expected to answer this. Now, at this point would you like to think it through rather than me finishing the explanation?...

HOW CAN I IMPROVE ON THE APPLICATION QUESTIONS?
Thank you so much you have helped me so much 😄
Why wasn't the domain included in question 2a?
I don't know - sometimes it just isn't :)
why is the answer to which class does white-fronted ground dove belong to
aves?
