TheObnoxiousPickle He wouldn’t, if the piece was meant to be this fast he would have written it that way. Compensating for a lack of musicianship with sheer speed does not equate to quality. This rendition is rather stale and depends on being fast to hide it.
Oh shut the fuck up and go play gta, you couldn't even play a number of the entire piece. The speed fills the song with energy, it sounds beatiful in both versions
Las patatas sonrientes I can in fact play this piece, there is much more difficult music out there. There is an essential musical concept called dynamics. Which really only lacks in amateur performances... this performance is missing it completely. It’s just a “play as loud and fast as you can no matter what” shit show. As I have said, Baroque music was meant to be played at a slower tempo, Vivaldi would not have been to keen on this rendition. Why does a piece have to be fast to give it energy and make it thrilling. By your logic if I take this video and set it to 2x speed it would be twice as energetic? Give it a shot and go figure.
After 30 minutes of classical music, the stress hormone cortisol significantly dropped in the research subjects. But if instead of listening to Beethoven’s Symphony no. 6, Opera 68, they listened to techno-Cyber Trip, Techno Shock, or Techno Magnetiko-their stress hormone levels went up. Endorphin levels also went up, which may make you think, “Oh that’s nice,” until you realize that endorphins are our body’s natural painkillers-they go up after a variety of aversive stimuli, like getting burned or prodded. These results may just be a function of the music’s tempo. The research shows that people get the same bump in breathing and blood pressure from listening to fast classical music like Vivaldi’s Presto, which was found to be as stimulating, or even more so, than the Red Hot Chili Peppers. nutritionfacts.org/2017/12/07/the-health-effects-of-heavy-metal-music/?NutritionFacts.org&RSS_BLOG_DAILY&mc_cid=a76ca09d16&mc_eid=5e68b0c5c8

17th century punk rock.

neoclassical symphonic metal is the offspring that pays tribute to these great classical compositions...
Presto is punk rock? More like Norwegian death metal!
holy shit that was fantastic. i have heard way too many versions of this that simply aren't "presto" enough. that was incredible.
Well said.
I don't think enough people appreciate how difficult this is to perform
Exactly. Sixteenths, double stops, fast shifting... And I can't even play the violin!
ive heard from violinists that it isnt that hard, since tremolo and high notes are exactly any harder than any other notes
@@iamhorny4542 the beginning isnt that hard, but this song would still take someone with a good amount of skill in order to perform it
