You could but I was thinking of a tray close to the tube I do 50-60 bullets a minute and with a long tube you have to fill it and then size I figured I could just drop them in faster
Hi Larry, looks like you are somewhat local to me, I'm up at the top of the 57 freeway, right at the 210! I was looking at the Dan Dix sizer in his video, looks like you've been happy with it? I'm just getting into casting, but based on my background in manufacturing, being able to speed up/automate a process that's repetitive, like sizing/depriming, to me, leaves more time for fun stuff, like shooting 😁. If you're ever open to showing a new caster some tips n tricks, I'd love to meet up!
Would be more than happy to show you my setup I am retired so available to schedule a time I’m out and about or home Do you know about Phillips in Covina he is a wholesale reloading place Give me a text or call 714 321-7197 if I don’t answer leave a message I don’t hear we’ll and if the compressor is on After 60 plus’s years of casting this is the machine to have last night I sized 260 bullets in less than 5 min
Hi Larry, for some reason UA-cam never alerted me to your reply, so I came back to your video just now and saw it. I would love to take you up on your offer, thank you! Yes, I was made aware of Phillips, his shop is just a couple miles from me, and I have given him some business so far 🙂 . I will send you an email to speak about setting up a time. Thank you! @@CastingNSizing
Good stuff Larry! 👍🏻👍🏻
Wow, that's quite a machine.
Hi Larry. I found you! - Walt AKA “Viejo” 😀
Nice! Could you use a mechanical bullet feeder that hooks to the tube that you use for the bullet drop? Maybe a Dillon?
