For me everything changed the moment I realised the "new year" only really happens with Spring, that is when nature is coming back to more vibrant life and with this movement of nature i naturally feel like a new cycle begins, because we're a part of nature. I enjoy reflecting on the past calendar year and start planting little seeds, but in no rush. Winter is slow, winter is quiet, so I act the way winter invites me to. We can always learn from nature and its rhythms

When you get a piece of art above the sofa, you can use the colors from it to guide you as to what accent colors to use (pillows, etc .). Really like the mirror and shelf in the living room. Perhaps you want to create more symmetry by doing the same to the left of the fireplace... everything is looking good!
Loved the interior update. I don't think it's showy at all. You have a very considerate and thoughtful approach to both interior and garment purchases and it's really nice to observe the whole process :) I hope you have a great time in cph and thank you for the lovely vlog!

Yes, it is not a ready made garment but a pattern that needs to be sewn. But I am sure you could sew or have made in the fabrics of your choice. Hope Copenhagen trip is a good one.
Hey :) Just been recently to Copenhagen again and I can highly recommend Vinoria Lio, lovely natural wine bar with excellent food and atmosphere. And since you also love Australia and may appreciate Australian specialty coffee my Aussie husband and i have been to a cafe called ORSA coffee which served in our opinion the best coffee in town. They also have the typical cheese and bread brekky and other delicious pastries. Pretty close by is also a lovely store called ROSY Vintage. Wish you an amazing time in Copenhagen.
Concerning the ottoman : I just treated myself for my forties to the puffy lounge chair from Faye toogood. Got the ottoman also ! It is incredibly stunning and comfortable ! I love it so much

Yes True Detective!!! 👌 I’m really enjoying it! Definitely The Thing vibes like you said but also Fortitude series 1, both series initially give the vibe that a kind of magic could be possible in their universes and you have to parse out over time what is real and what is in the characters heads, really fun. Would you recommend past TD series? I’m just starting with 4 but tempted to go back and check out the others . . .
I've never found joy in making resolutions! Puts pressure on right from the get go and sets me up for negative self-talk and an overall harsh attitude. I prefer being content with (and proud of) simply trying, and encouraging myself on in a gentle manner. But hey, I'm a sensitive person and to each their own.

Apple TV announced yesterday that they started production/filming of Severance season 2! The second season's development was hugely impacted by the strikes, so I imagine there's a lot of continued anticipation for it

Our house is the exact same style and layout as Brittany's and that's what we have done. The TV fits very snugly into the alcove when the wall-mounted arm bracket thing is folded in - and then when we use the telly, we swivel it forward and angle it. It's a great solution, but you do need a slightly smaller telly.
Brittany, why doesn’t Dean do a Portrait of you to put in the living room? He is a painter as well so I am not sure why you would order something from the outside that is for your personal space 🥺~
