Good news about the software updates and its interesting to test the beta version of the app. Thanks for great info and also the link to apps beta-program👍🏼
Hi. Thanks for another great video. But it is still not possible to lock the car remotely via MySkoda app if you realize you forgot to lock it, right? Something that Tesla has since beginning... And ME3.x is the best we will get if you have the previous Enyaq, right? Skoda completely forgot about the previous Enyaqs and ME3.7 is not really an improvement as far as I hear from people having it... So, if you are unlucky one and have an older Enyaq then ... well, we can just forget about ever having a better UI experience, right?
I am in the United Kingdom, with a Skoda Enyaq IV 80 Sportline 2023 model with software version 3.5, i still have not received the OTA update to version 3.7
Nice work Mathias. Let's hope we get s/w version 5 soon in the UK and I'm hoping they give us remote uplock fro the app, or at least the ability to open the boot for parcel deliveries. Nice studio but I do like authenticity when you do the videos in the enyaq.
@@Carlos-b2j9nmine is an 85, I asked Škoda and they told me that as I've got icas 4 I'll not get 5 because that numbering is for cars with icas 5. No idea who matthias is speaking to but I hope he's right and Škoda have found a new way on the last 4 weeks since they said it wouldn't happen.
Great things to hear! Let's hope you are correct, I've heard multiple people say that 4.x cars can't get 5.x because of hardware, but I didn't feel it made sense. If Skoda manage to get my late 2024 up to a current version, my feelings towards the software and future purchases will surely turn to the better.
Hi Matthias! Thanks for all your content,! Soon joining the Enyaq owners club. I see in your chapter titles a small spelling error..."Software 3.7 over the air" (aur is incorrect) Warm Regards from Schweiz
"unavailable due to battery protection limit" message. Boy oh boy. many, many, many times I have had this message. so much so it would stop my car from charging overnight at home. Thankfully I have not had it so much lately. fingers crossed 🤞
Do you have any idea of, when the Enyaq will be facelifted (or reworked) ? Looking at the 85x L&K version, but won't order if a facelifted (love the elroq front) is coming anytime soon.
My MY22 80x got 3.7 last week, haven’t found any bugs. There is active regeneration management when using navigation, which I like. In the next couple of weeks I hope to get my new vRS in Phoenix Orange with 4.x software.
Still getting the 12V battery protection limit warning, almost as frequently as before, on MySkoda App v7.7.0 (beta). What's worse is that I have turned off the Battery Protection notifications within the app's settings menu. So, the app shows notifications for a category that I've specifically turned off, while at the same time, it never shows a notification about door open/unlocked status that I have turned on. Skoda engineers need to focus on app functionality for existing owners, not on test drive booking and order status checking features for people who don't have a car yet. I think most people would not even think of downloading an app for a car they don't have. Enyaq manufacture date 12/2023, UK market, with infotainment software version 4.0.
My less than 3-month old Enyaq was delivered with software version 4.1. I'm loving the car, absolutely hating the software which is terrible. I've already had the following issues: - Wifi was not working, consequently Apple Carplay wasn't working, fixed itself after deep sleep of couple of hours - only happened once; - car reported that front and back parking sensors were impaired - happened once, after car shutdown, locked and started again it was OK; - car reported that sensor for ACC is impaired, at the same time reported that cannot read road signs - happened twice, was self-fixed after stopping car, getting out, locking it and starting it again; - for no reason when entering the car, it reported that steering wheel heating is off; - reported an issue with 12V battery for a couple of seconds, afterwards the notification disappeared and wasn't shown again; - reported an issue with SOS call for about a minute, disappeared and did not repeat since; - radio stopped working, also could not adjusted volume - after resetting infotainment a couple of times, it started working (during one reset while driving, also display in front of the driver which shows current speed, etc. went blank for about 10 seconds, then rebooted); - infotainment stayed on even after locking the car - this happened during radio not working issue; - car reported that it could not load user profiles - after 2 restarts of the car, it went away. - additional minor issue with software - for example showing weird screens such as profile settings when turning the car off; My concern is that issues are getting more common. Most of them happened in the last week. All issues were self-resolved after one or more restarts of the car. My 20+ years of experience as a software developer tells me that it's a software issue, nothing else. Hopefully Mattias is right and newer version of more reliable software comes to my Enyaq. Did any of you experience such behaviour with software version 4.1?
Hey. Now imagine us, Enyaq owners who have ME version 3.x and will never see version 4 or anything better :( ME3.x is a textbook example of how SW should NOT look like... It still baffles me how somebody can decide to release a car with such a SW to the market...
@@bkastel1 Agree. However, I would be happy to stay on 4.X version if they'd just fix the bugs. I don't need new functionalities, I do however need a car where there isn't everyday hustle with stuff like radio not working :(.

To get software 5 you need hardware to match, icas 5. If you don't have that then software 5 isn't designed for your car.
