For someone just unboxing the Merlin you make prettier sounds than some folks teaching lessons on UA-cam. Mighty good ad for this instrument. Would appreciate seeing more on the Merlin. Thanks.
Really nice video. You do a great job of combining instruction with playing. Most videos are too much playing, not enough telling me how. Others are too much telling me how and I don't get to hear how it is supposed to sound. You have the perfect balance of these two things.
Nice overview. I just bought a Merlin off someone who hasn't used it. So, I guess it's new/old. I find the intonation is sharp, especially on the A string. Wondering whether a new set of strings would benefit . Even though the instrument is hardly used, the strings might be stretched from sitting under tension.

Yeah try new strings. No truss rod so I don’t know what all mantience can really be done you know
