      Otoniel Castro no si es que para pendejo no se estudia. Slang es lenguaje inapropiado, y eso es lo que mis oraciones están imitando. Si hubiera querido crear oraciones con lenguaje apropiado lo hubiera hecho. Pero cómo todo es informal no me tome el tiempo. Y el término hubiera sido "a El Salvador"

    • @alexis4822
      @alexis4822 8 років тому +3

      Douglas Morales he escuchado que la palabra se empezó a usar como un insulto, así como tonto o pedejo, que son equivalentes. Pero en las conversaciones no se proyectan de tal manera. La palabra maje es usada para dirigirse a conocidos. Ej. "Hey, ¿Que ondas maje?" Creo que todo depende en el contexto que sea usado.

    I am Guatemalan and I knew them all. At the end of the day, history tells us about 'Kingdom of Guatemala' Guatemala being the capital of Central America for 100+years! People walked freely without borders. Today we have a lot of words in common, not to mention, we we are neighbors too! #SPANISHCOLONIZATION

    @ 1:37 she said Salvadoreños are stealing them from Guatemala and no. The word púchica is used as an expression of surprise, admiration, anger or fear by Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala and El Salvador. And is also another way to say ‘puta’ in a less vulgar way as to why kids and teenagers use it too. So no we are not stealing words from nowhere. Here’s an example: “ A la gran púchica vos perdí mi teléfono.”

Most of my friends are from Central America and many of the central american countries (guatemala, el salvador, honduras, etc) share common slang. In guatemala they say shuco though, but it sounds so similar that I would have guessed chuco had the same meaning.
