Today is January 11th, 2024. We went fishing with my son and his wife this past weekend and my son caught a 15.5 Crappie that weighed 2lbs. My daughter, his wife caught a huge flat head catfish, I don’t remember how much it weighed but it gave her one heck of a fight.
Yes sir it’s some monsters out there fr fr my buddy just told me he don’t caught 75 with his wife in too days in new man’s lake

Oh to be back in Florida (where I grew up) to really go fishing with you all! We're looking at lows below zero & highs in the low single digits the next few days...would need an ax to get access to any finned thing!

Nancy put that minnow right on her first ones noggin! Sorry you lost that real big one Hollis. The real big ones can be tough to lift out of cover sometimes. 50 fish=100 fillets= fine eating and lots of fertilizer. Thats a fun and productive day. Tight lines and God Bless

I am sooooo enjoying this video!!!!!! I'm 61 female, disabled and really hard to get in boat but i do it but then my truck finally quit and needs a new engine. Cant afford so it is sitting in back yard and nothing to tow my boat with. We have lake perch here. Wish we had a good crappie lake. I love crappie! But can't fish now so fishing through your video. Thank you so much. Looks like so much fun!

Grew up wade fishing this lake😢. Lots of gators & cotton mouths!! Liked the NW corner where Hatchet creek comes in. Kate's fish camp creek was always good for cats. But Windsor was my fave for wading. Been too many years since but it's really good fishing I have heard.😊

Nothing like good ole' fashioned "cane pole" fishing with "minner's" (even if it is a new-fangled modern cane pole). Hollis, you could use a push pole for moving around in those shallow waters. Another nice video, and an excellent day on the water!
