Just a reminder for all those who say that Brian could not write songs. Gene Clark from the Byrds said that Brian wrote Eight Miles High but Brian did not want any credit for writing it.

He didn’t write EMH for Feeck sake he was talking to gene about London and Gene being one the best songwriters in pop took on board some descriptions of London! McGuinn came up with the psychedelic sound

John lennon said of Brian when asked years after his death what was Brian like. lennon said at the the start he was alright but as the years went on you saw him deteriorate before your very eyes. He wasn't great or anything. Now I haven't heard of anyone mention that Lennon put down of Brian's talents. yeah he could write son's but his personality got in the way. he was bloody good at it. believe me i've tried working out some of his stuff. Some was simple and some was complex. It would have left Mick and Keith scratching their heads

Brian Jones definitely was an un credited co writer on various songs. I do believe ( the only thing I do believe about what Mr Richards says about him) that Brian couldn't write entire songs by himself. What would Under My Thumb, Paint it Black or many other tunes be without the hook Brian wrote. Gene Clark claims Brian as a co-writer. Sure, it is obvious he could come up with melodies. I think if he could write entire congs he would have esp when he had more power in the bands earlier days. Funny, un credited songs were part of Mick Taylor's complaints about being a Stone.

I read somewhere that before Anita, Brian fell madly in love with a Swedish girl named Mona and he begged her to come live with him in England but she said no and then later he hooks up with Anita. Maybe if Mona had come to England, Brian would not have met Anita who broke his heart when she ran off with Keith and Brian never did get over Anita. When Anita ran off with Keith and they kick Brian out of his own band, he sort of gave up on life. Maybe he would still be alive today if Mona had come to England.

Honey Lambb, Brian Jones seems that was a person who did what he wanted at all time... His problems started, maybe, because he was not as good as he thought, at swimming in an ocean full of phoneys and in his own swimmingpool as well... If It hadn't been Anita, it would've been another thing... He did the life of a child at the amusement park, but with women, drugs, music, etc. He didn't seem he ever cared about somebody in his short life... at least, to the point of making a sacrifice for someone who were not himself. Some say he was murdered... It is quite likely... Anyway he did his life the way he wanted and we can't change that...

Plus Clapton was considering replacing Brian and joining the Stones. These Jones fans really don't know history. Brian and Jimi would have both been dead. Lennon was on his way down too. The true Rolling Stones are the one's who kept "rolling" no matter what. Mick, keith, Charlie and Bill for another 20 years anyway.
And as it's cool to have this post for the record, it's a fucking mess, you can see what brian would've done without Mick and Keith, sounds much worse than my garage band when I was 12. In fact it's very sad and depressing, no wonder they got rid of him.
