+Stacy Love is black ur natural hair color? Cuz if it is the dye will show up fine but if it's not natural u definitely need to remove the color with Color Oops or something and it is a little damaging but not as bad as bleach

+Kristian King (KKtheQueen) no I have like a dark brown I've been using head and should to remove my hair dye. it is getting lighter but I am scared dying my hair with a color remover. my hair isn't damage or dry. and it's super long. I don't want to go to a salon I rather do it myself...save more more like that lol
I just did a retouch on my faded burgundy and in between salon appointments I like to dye my hair myself. I remember your results on this box dye. And I instantly got it! I love it 😍

I bought this hair dye a month ago and didn’t leave it in for long cause it was my first time dying my hair and I recently bought the same dye again I’m so excited to do it tomorrow ! Keeping it in for about an 30 minutes like you !

Red is the hardest to hair color to keep up. It constantly bleeds unfortunately. Your best bet is to get non sulfate shampoo and conditioner for color treated red hair. Try not to shampoo to often.

I dyed my hair burgundy.
It looks more red than burgundy and just like you, it shows only in the sunlight. You can see a little bit, but looks brown still. Im looking forward to dying my hair again but using a different brand.
Yours is VERY PRETTY. Yours is more violet than mine. Mine is more of a red ish. I also had VERY VERY dark brown hair. I saw that brand at the store so I might get that one next!
K Panda you have to bleach it a little for the colour to be brighter.
does it look black at night or white light?
I just dyed my hair Garnier #462 Sugar Beet. My hair was light brown with blonde streaks with some gray sprinkled in and the light brown turned dark brown almost black, and the blonde turned the color I wanted, that purply burgundy you have. I washed it like 4x bc imo it was too dark. Now I can already see my blonde streaks peeking through. Looks ok but not what I wanted, I wanted it ALL burgundy. My starting color wasn't anywhere near as dark as yours so idk why it came out so dark.

I have wanted to dye my hair dark purple for the past three years and never have. My fiance made the suggestion today that I dye it dark purple. So I went to Target and bought Garnier Nutrisse V2 dark Intense violet. I was going to get dark intense burgundy but I didn't want it to look like a purpleish red color. So I was happy I found this one on my way out of the aisle. My natural color is a dirty dish water blonde color. But, I recently dyed my hair back in August a light brown however it didn't turn out the color I wanted since it was previously dyed dark black twice since January. So, I can't wait to see how it will turn out.

Okay I got this same color cause I fell in love with it- question this is my first time EVER dying my hair- do I just rinse after the 30 mins or shampoo and conditioner?
I realize this video is old, however I'm going to comment anyway lol. I dyed my hair black a year ago and it's super faded and grown out, should I still use a color remover? I don't want it super light. I want like a dark burgandy....
The only concern I have is that ur hair will be two different colors since ur virgin hair “new growth” takes color much better than the previously processed hair. So unless u want hot roots sadly U must lift the rest of the hair even if it’s similar to ur roots.

I've been dying my hair a "soft black" hair(box) dye for long time but recently used "color oops" to strip my hair and it did a little like I have a reddish brown cast on my hair(in the sun is where u see it mostly) ..I stripped my hair cause I'm wanting a new hair color and I want this burgundy color so my question is "can I apply this color on my hair now that I stripped it some what and now has a lighter cast(in sun)???HELP
I had previously dyed black hair, I bleached with volume 30 twice a week in between bleaches. Then I used purple shampoo and conditioner once. Then dyed it this color and looks really good get compliments all the time. Hope this helps

Yes all permanent hair dye will damage to some degree but it’s not that bad. Bleach is worse.

I've been coloring my hair blue-black from this brand, and I bought the same exact burgundy color that you have just to try it out, but I'm nervous what it will do since my hair is blue black. Will it show up, or do something wacky to my hair ?? Your video is wonderful ❤️️
+The Peaches Thank u 😊 but about the hair color, honestly I don't think it will show up at all. Black needs to be removed with a color remover and possibly bleach. Also blue and black are cool tones and burgundy and reds are warm tones so they are completely opposite 😕 I would try removing at least some of the color to get to at least a medium brown. I know there's a drugstore color remover called Oops. Just do ur research and read the directions. Good luck ❤️

kinda late but; what color was your hair before the first purple dye? I really wan to try this color, i also used it back when i was 17 and i just don't remember the color payoff. I have dark brown hair so im expecting more low light rather than a bright purple or a more intense color like yours (is lovely btw)

Oh man I need to get this hair dye. I just dyed mine a midnight violet from loreal feria and it made my hair a soft black with a soft violet tint 😠. It looks okay I suppose but not what I wanted. When it fades I'm getting this one.

If i wanted to make this slightly brighter and less dark, could I do half the box 20 developer and half my own bought developer? Just take it up shade lighter so its a little easier to see? Or would be be more beneficial to just use a separate 30 developer with this box dye? My hair is almost black; it's a really dark brown.
I know this may seem like a random question.. But what do you use for your eyebrows? I love the color. I use salonperfect from Wal-Mart & I feel its too light for me.
