☆Great one Ram! 2024 was a great year with some very interesting frags. I really got into Fort & Manle, Day Three's "Say Less," has a great fresh take on iris, with wet concrete (strangely attractingly addictive. And picked up some classics, like Serge Luten's "Ambre Sultan." The Argos' had two bangers, "Sacred Flame," and Charon's Vail both very classy and warm. Suprised by liking Ormonde Jayne's "Man," Tom F's Black Laquer is fun and ties into my record collecting 'sentimentality' well. Lucky pick is Dior Homme 100ml. due to the confirmation that the 'MFK'- has taken out 100ml for 75 and 50 ml. only. And has removed both the 'oud' and leather...and adding vanilla😢 to the upcoming(2wks or so) release. R.I.P. to D' Homme. Mucho amor to Ram and the whole Frag Fam♡♡♡☆
Wonderful work brother. I think everything about areej Le dore is amazing, the ingredients the blending the bottles etc.thanks for these work of art videos mate
Well the last two years have brought my return to perfumery…. Always into the hobby, but right around 2019, I got burnt out. I had a big enough collection, so I was just using what I already had, and didn’t get a new perfume till 2023…. Thanks to you actually. You sparked my interest into getting back into the hobby after finding you, and watching your videos, and learning some old classics that I can’t believed I missed. I still don’t like a lot of modern scents nowadays from the big niche and designer houses… but there’s always glimmers of hope and gold to find. You helped me discover my second favorite scent ever… Le Lion by Chanel. I would’ve never checked it out because I kinda just wrote off the big big houses, I thank you for that…. You also got me to buy my last Creed… and it has become my favorite of the house, Vanisia!! Happy new year!
Great vid Ram! Another video idea for you could be a annually ranked list regarding any fragrance (new or vintage) that was new to your nose for the year. Since with our hobby our collections are ever growing it might be good to highlight the gems we come across during the journey.
Ramsey! Hello. Thanks for this list my friend. Going in the direction of obtaining a few more artisanal frags myself. After I saw mesoud on list & talked about our of the gate,I went ahead and pulled the trigger to purchase it. It's being shipped Monday & I'm thrilled to be able to place it alongside the few other artisanal frags in collection(*SUNSET IN TENNESSEE,NOT DARK YET,AMBER COLOGNES). For the record, he made a total of 61 bottles. Sizes for purchase are 15ML=$250 & 30ML=$470 ! Hefty price such sizes but I'm assuming it's due to quality of materials in it,which you listed in video. Thanks again. A2
Awesome video Ram. as usual. I'm a lover of amouage scents mainly because I love incense-wearing. Do you think I can get hold of Vert D'Encens by Tom Ford? Not on my life. I live at the bottom of the world here in New Zealand, so I'm not privy to your wonderful USA supply. Hope you're doing well. It is very hot here being our summer. Love your shirt by the way. I'm not sure I like the way Amouage is going. I own a dozen. My last purchase was the woman's overture because of your video. Stunning fragrance. See, you do help people in their choices. Keep going. You are making a difference. Also, have you sampled Dan's Le Bleu Que Petille from Sergy L? Its quite different and I'm humming away deciding whether I'll give it a full bottle go. Because of my geographical position we rarely get samples, and Sergy doesn't really provide any. Grant 😃
Very awesome collection I like some of the 2024 releases and I like vintage stuff from the 80s and 90s too I just ordered another bottle of Lord Molyneux it’s really good stuff and so underrated there’s only one review of it from FragranceMatt
Shatha Alzaabi has her own brand called SJA, based off UAE, i tried a few from that house: tabacco, taifi, suyufi. I often see them being sold at $100-200. she also has a collab with Al Shareef Oudh that costs more than 1k
Exactly what I've been predicting since 2018. The fall of the corporate and the rise of the individual. 👍 It's a natural progression if you think about it. More artisanal goodness coming in the future. Especially once AI perfumers are adopted into.....ooop I've said too much. 🤣 Your channel is one of a kind Ramsey. Keep kickin' ass in the new year. 🥾→ 🍑
Merry belated Christmas/Happy New Year ram! Hey just curious, have you ever smelled Des Clous Pour Une Pelure from serge lutens? (Its the neon blue juice one). My mother used to make a dish with chicken topped with orange slices and clove so it has peaked my interest lol
Yeah she has always been slower on the releasing side of fragrances...which is good because some houses are just pumping them out and its like ugh 🫣 another one 🙄 But with Papillon I am always looking forward to her releases because they are so few and far between and I know she spent her time on it
@ 💯 agreed and that’s great! And she does very large batches unlike other artisanal brands ! But as someone who thoroughly enjoys her work…we want more 🤩
No cash grabs and extremely…I mean EXTREMELY underpriced for what they are considering she’s been doing for years and what the newcomers are charging from the beginning these days !
So I had never smelled Chanel Antaues but with all your talk and love for it i decided I needed to add it to the collection. Love it, unfortunately it's a new bottle and my guess is it has been completely butchered and neutered because it only last about 2-3 hours. However, i would still take it over 95% of designers being released today and the price from the Chanel website is only 130 bucks which compared to today's insane designer prices, is an absolute steal.
@RamseytheRam i immediately went online. Looking for one. The cheapest bottle I could find was 500. I'll stay on the hunt though. Happy New year brother. Can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve for 2025!
I had to come back and eat my words ... It seems this is not a weak fragrance at all i have had 2 people come up to me stating how strong it is hours after spay and i did not spray my clothes.... So perhaps i was just going nose blind. 👍
Thanks for your response. I've been getting a big soapy bathtub iris from the modern shalimar edp. Looking forward to the first Ramsey perfume release/collab, if there is one. I believe I'll get Hemes BAV next
@RamseytheRam I wish I had bottle #50, I was #50 that up voted this video review of yours. Which is a win for yourself and me. I learned and continue to learn a lot from you. The Aoud facet, I wish I could get my hands on it. We will get back on top eventually, 💪 go Convicts. We need roughness and roughneck ball. Welcome to the NFL, son.
@ericgordon4746 unfortunately they just flag us if we so much as breathe on them now a days... so I don't know if that will win in modern Sarcastaball... but I figure eventually every team has their moment in the sun for just one such example see the lions... hopefully the raiders time comes before I am dead
@RamseytheRam It will, I'm rooting for Detroit. It is one of those times currently. We keep our heads up! Francis Kurkdjian has a thoughtful "gone down. Hopefully, he is making bank to at least repair the press release later.
If someone releases an outrageous scent in the next 4 days you're going to be livid 😂🐏🦆
😂😂😂
Spot on mate

Loved discovering new stuff this year….especially discovering some vintage gems. Awesome year for my frag journey.
It is a great feeling finding something new that you love, especially a vintage gem or rare artisnal fragrance!

That’s a great idea! I will definitely add that to the list.

Great year Ramsey , thanks for sharing my guy
Appreciate you watching! 🙏
your discord is awesome sir
Thank you so much ..you have to thank folks like Noah for being the chaperones and monitoring it to make sure it doesn't go off the rails lol
Have you ever tried Azman Majnoon? Would love to get your take on it
I have not sorry...maybe one day
Liz Moores and Russian Adam are the winners of this year !

Waiting for the ranked edition ! And I really wish Liz would do atleast a couple fragrances a year 🤞
Yeah she has always been slower on the releasing side of fragrances...which is good because some houses are just pumping them out and its like ugh 🫣 another one 🙄

It’s a shame to hear about the longevity, that really is a steal at that price & I am glad you luv it...now hunt down a vintage bottle 🙂

Have you checked out boucheron pour homme yet? I just got it to go alongside my shalimar
Yes I have a bottle ...it's okay...more a summer fragrance for my tastes in the hot when you can spray away
Thanks for your response. I've been getting a big soapy bathtub iris from the modern shalimar edp.
Looking forward to the first Ramsey perfume release/collab, if there is one.
I believe I'll get Hemes BAV next
Just win, baby!! I got #50 Test driving Declaration EDT and earlier Amouage Overture Man.
Bottle number? Nice! It might be a while before we start winning again... but it's been a 40 years ... what's another year or two? Lol
@RamseytheRam I wish I had bottle #50, I was #50 that up voted this video review of yours. Which is a win for yourself and me. I learned and continue to learn a lot from you. Best packaging/presentation? Have you seen Boka Fragrance?
I have not sorry
Maybe one day :)
Enjoyed Tfs
Thanks for watching 🎆
To my nose Outlands dry down is very Baccarat 540 like. Amouage has lost its edge IMO
They absolutely have... moving to the mass appealing side is what all these niche houses are doing and it's incredibly frustrating & disappointing
First🎉😄
Sotd: Al Santal, gorgeous sandalwood
Edit: Ram am I trippin or does your new phone camera move the shelf sometimes?😂
For as much as I paid it should cook and clean 😂
But I hope it isn't moving lol
@RamseytheRam 😂 please people tell me I'm not the only one that sees that!

Great vid! You should put Armani Prive Oud Royal on your sniff list. Ambery Smokey Incencey, it’s pretty great
Thank you I will 🐽
