Welcome back, hope to see you around with more BM songs. This was the best 2020 collab between these two great bands and we finally got this collab on the stage together after so much time waiting for it. BMTH performed at Southside Festival in Germany and Hellfest Festival in previous years, there's a nice proshot version but with only BabyMetal backing track vocals, luckily now we got this amazing clip showing them sharing the same stage at Makuhari Messe during a festival called "NEX_FEST" ending October and starting November last year, and they did it not only once but four times in a row, everyone went bonkers with these, you can also find fancams of each night showing some different interactions at the end between Oli and the girls, SuMetal thanked to BMTH in all of them, that's the only thing i can complain about this clip but it's cool anyway. BMTH couldn't have better collab on their album Post Human Survival Horror, there are some others really good songs there thou but this one is just on another level. My suggestions are: "Parasite Eve" and "Teardrops", also "Ludens" from Death Stranding OST videogame. This song was produced by Mick Gordon, the same behind videogames like Doom, Wolfenstein and Prey, so you can feel the vibes here. They're friends since 2015 when met each other at Kerrang Awards so the collab was almost naturally unavoidable. They even performed as a support band for BabyMetal and Oli praise the Fox God too (atheist, dame, zettai)🦊🤘 The drum&bass instrumental intro on this song is called "Itch For The Cure" which is clearly a tribute to Linkin Park song "Cure For The Itch", but the short animation and dialogue wasn't part of the album track, it's a reference to Metal Gear Solid videogame created by Hideo Kojima, they got another MGS tribute song called "Shadow Moses" and later in 2019 they were part of Death Stranding OST, another Hideo Kojima game. Also you can find a short documentary about the making of this song where Oli said interesting things about the method they worked with the BM team and giving multiple choice of doing this. Next suggestion to follow your BM journey: - *Road Of Resistance* live in Japan official MV (2015). See you next time.🤘🔥
Moa (she is on the right side of video when they all headbang) goes so damn low when she headbangs/hairwhips, that I think her hair actually hits the ground!🤘🦊🤘
This was filmed at NEX_FEST in Japan late in 2023. Although Kingslayer came out in 2020, it took until this event for them to manage to all be on the same stage together to perform it, so it was a special occasion and it clearly meant a lot to all of them. Since then, they've performed it a few more times at festivals and other events. I got to see them perform this live in Kuala Lumpur about two weeks ago. It absolutely went off live.
👑 🗡 This performance was from NEX_FES, a festival put on by Bring Me the Horizon. It was held in Hyogo, Japan on October 31st, in Aichi on November 1st, and in Tokyo November 3rd & November 4th. BABYMETAL were a featured artist, and performed a set earlier each evening. Of course everyone was hoping they would come back out and join BMTH during their set for 'Kingslayer'. : )
Nice one. No I don't think it was on Instragram live, that was the video editor just making it look that way (pretty sure I'm right, happy to be corrected if not). This song was on the cards for a long time before they finally recorded it in 2020. They had often spoken of wanting to collaborate ever since they first met in 2015 in the UK and Oli Sykes took it on himself to make sure they felt welcomed and comfortable. They have been good friends since and BABYMETAL invited BMTH to tour in Japan with them in 2019. You probably saw for yourself how much fun they were all having finally being able to perform together 3 years after the song was released. They did this at all 4 NEX_FEST events around the start of November last year where this video was filmed, but they have managed to play together at other festivals since this - last time was not very long ago and they all had even more fun.
Best collaboration of 2020 performed it together at festivals a few times since the Headbanging together getting more ferocious much to the crowds delight 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
👍👍An awesomely awesome collaboration, one of my favorites.🔥🔥🔥🔥Great reaction.🦊 🖖❤ Babymetal - Kagerou (Legend MM 2024 Live) Eng Subs BABYMETAL - Road of Resistance - Live in Japan (OFFICIAL)
Nice reaction! Highest energy, isn´t it? A banger. You should watch a fancam edition of the "Kingslayer" choreography. With the "live" video you watched you only got a glimpse on the sensational choreography BABYMETAL contributed to this song.
