You can scroll down on the Tailor recipes. You should still assign 1 worker to the tailor. Clothes are needed too
I had a massive death wave because of lack of food, still now sure what happened. Nearly killed my whole settlement but somehow we survived and recovered and my settlement is thriving. but it was crazy there for a while. You are doing well. The help doc is wrong. It's knitting workshop that makes the straw shoes.

don't know if this tip is any useful. When i played the early access, i had at least 2 foresters. 1 set to planting, the other to chopping, and switched them around. You can even setup a 3rd one just for redundancy. I'm looking forward to the next episodes
You're missing a lot of visual queues from the game indicating things are going wrong. Like attempting to build while missing some materials. The resources that are available still gets committed but the building will never finish. So that's where your timber went. They were basically stuck at building site during a critical point when they should've been made into fuel.

This game has been in my library for a while now waiting on me to work through some of the other games you made me buy. So, nice job on NOT costing me money for a change!

im pretty sure you need weaving for the shoes or maybe knitting? it got to be 1 of those so would be worth unlocking one since it should help make baskets

Water sawmill makes firewood faster.
Yeah there's a few things like that, that took me a while to realize. Same with Foresters... they get more wood per tree than just the regular "Harvest" command.
I really like the art style of this game, it's a pleasant departure from the more polished visuals of Anno and Farthest Frontier.
Considering your settlers will seek shelter in the closest house when they're cold, would it make sense to build houses in different directions away from the centre?
Have to build them within the market range though, it is tempting to build another market near industry just to have houses built near them.
