Yeah we've been drying the walls/roof before we stick them on. Also one of our amazing subscribers sent us a machine for clearing water off the windows and it works a treat. Thanks for watching ❤️💙
Best to us a wallpaper type roller to really press the adhisive home on the deadening product. Sometimes the struts come away from the big panels and need new sikaflex

Security - suggest u could give serious consideration to deadlocks on three doors. For the barn doors cheap widgets can be bought to fix at the top centre yo secure both doors. Or, deadlock on the sliding door, and chain hooked from cab door s to seat base on each side - cheap & effective. Intersecting eyebolts on the inside of the slider pop a pin in a night - dirt cheap an effective.
@@ShaneandAneVanLife don't forget that you won't have the pop up roof which lets light into Fergus. If you have a rainy day, you'll be trapped in the van and if there's not enough light nor view, your mood will drop too.
Ohh wow really!! I've heard some horror stories of companies converting vans full time and they cut corners every way. No sound deadening, no insulation on the floors, no vapour barrier...
@@ShaneandAneVanLife After our first trip the batons supporting the bed and the pan drawer came loose, also an overhead locker. Fixed it myself because of the distance back to the dealer in UK. This week i discovered that the Truma heater is fixed down with only two screws, and the shelf on which it sits is not fixed properly, looks like most of the screws have never been driven home. £43k 2014 (thanks dad r.i.p.) oh! and they drove a long screw straight thru the heater inlet and exhaust double walled pipe. Wrote to Rapido in france in French - no reply. The average puntet opens the van door at the showroom and goes ooh! Love it! They know that -sold!
