I ve bought a Swing Mistral 2 M size glider in 2001, just certified DHV 1-2. My brother got another one exactly the same siza and colour. We star to have plenty of frontal collapses. It was notorious the tendency to get stuck at 10 o clock on take-off inflation. Soon Ive got an 80% collapse 40mt high. It recovered quite fast though I was too close to the ground and broke my ankle. Hospital bill, (surgery,) and that ended my flying career. Later on, Swing recalled the Mistral 2 , but just the S size, because of the same problems I ve got with mine. I have both gliders with 2 flight time hours on them but Swing refuses to recognise in any measure their faulty glider. How come that DHV test did not detect these tremendous defects? Why Swing, even declaring "good faith in any problem" doesn t give me a discount at the least, now that I am flying again? I smell corruption and bad faith at the most. You can find the fail in Swing page. And I keep the hospital bill. And both gliders mint new, thoguh useless. I got them brand new in their distributor in Madrid at the time. I listen to all this bla bla bla. Ok, take my mistral 2 and fly it pal!!!! Then go on with all the DHV propaganda. Or give me a new glider.
