Note that MLD is NEVER deep or painful and NEVER involves picking open surgical incisions or squeezing fluid out of them.

Always good to know a system that will work. This is slightly different from my therapist's treatment routine but basically the same. My lymphedema is mostly in the legs & feet. Have been doing good as of late though.

Feel free to subscribe to my channel. I may make a self-MLD video in the future! Remember, it's not massage, but Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (MLD). Thanks!

Hi! This video is to show patients an example of what an MLD session will be like. It's not a teaching video on how to do self-MLD, although I may make one in the future! You can click my name below the video to see all my other videos. Currently I don't have any example videos on what the back or lower body MLD is. But don't worry! Your certified therapist will know how to do it on you!

I have a client that has a lot of swelling in the pelvic area after liposuction what is a good technique to move that fluid out of that area with MLD

Are you a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist or Certified Lymphedema Therapist? Then your school showed you how to work on the pelvic area using MLD.

it would be great if your arms weren't blocking the video

Hi! Yes, I didn't know that until I uploaded the video to my PC. A client of mine was kind enough to volunteer to come over to help me video, and she was holding the camera. But a few mins where you can't see what I am doing doesn't matter. What is most important is that you hire a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist or Certified Lymphedema Therapist (Vodder style!!!) to do MLD on you. This is not a self-MLD video. thx!

Watch your video it.focuses on your arm..it doesn't see what you touching while you masaging

My client was kindly holding the camera. It doesn't matter if a few moments of the therapy were obscured. What matters is that you hire a Certified lymphatic therapist to do MLD on you.

Cant see..plse do again with less clothes in way and camera in a better position as your arm obliterates view some of time

I kept the video G-rated in terms of clothing. The upper body areas I did therapy on were exposed just fine: throat/arms/abs. You're right in that for the first 4 mins my arm blocks some of the throat area, but it doesn't matter as your Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist or Certified Lymphedema Therapist will know what to do at that area.
