  • From their 1967 album "Carnival in Trinidad Vol. III" Silver Stars gives us a
taste of what bomb tunes sounded like in the days when pan ruled the roads of T&T at Carnival time.
arranged by their Bandleader/ Arranger Junior Pouchet, another one of the pan legends of the past.

Oh my goodness, Ghost Riders. This was my friends and I theme song whenever we were walking to the beach, especially on holidays. We had no portable radios, so we would sing this beautiful tune, note for note. We had some pretty decent beaches in La Brea back in the 60's.

They do not play, and arrange like that anymore, how sweet pan has changed, to showmanship, some times it is difficult to understand what some bands are trying to relate musically,,,,I PLAYED with more than one band, including COCA COLA SILVERSTARS
