Think it was the first time I heard his speaking voice!
Funny thing is that accent wasn't really spoken in America it was made by radio personalities and consciously used by high society (there were little to no people who had it naturally)
The lyrical changes Colm makes to his Hazbin Hotel songs just screams "my grandma likes to watch my channel and I don't want to offend her". XD
The other song getting changed was an understandable necessity for youtube since this website forcibly infantalizes everything people make if they want to monetize it. But censoring "Hell" and "pentagram" in a song literally being sung from Lucifer's perspective was an incredibly weird choice. It's the kind of unnecessary censoring that makes a cover feel very.. kidzbop.

@@troikas3353It's easier to appreciate the changes when live in a household where no one swears. I appreciate it because if someone walks in I don't get a weird look lol. It's a niche not a lot of cover artists are filling and I'm here for it.
@@josiahmarchese1902 If you remove swear words, that's one thing, like when Colm removes a ton of stuff from Loser Baby since he doesn't really want to say what Angel likes to "sample" on a fairly family-friendly UA-cam channel. But removing completely normal words like Hell or pentagram is overkill, in my opinion.

I kinda like the lyric "from the big boss man himself" a little better than "from the big boss of hell himself" ngl, though the original "with a punch of a pentagram" feels way better than the lyric in this. and its a little confusing to me that he would censor those words but not things like shit and fuck in other covers like his loser baby cover, but hey, I ain't complaining, I adore both covers still.
The one-man-duet has never been performed so well.

@@spoopyvirgil4944 oh yeah, that would be super fun. Kinda wish they didn't change his voice actor tho. The new one doesn't catch it to the same degree and sounds nasally most of the time, it's driving me insane.

Colm's lyric changes make this song sound ike it could be sung by some kind of rival criminal duo instead of demons, which i actually really like! It both makes the song more vague and makes it fit multiple scenarios if you're listening without context

This was fantastic for so many reasons. I was in a real down mood, and this had me laughing to the point it was nothing but squeaks coming out. The energy is everything one could hope for, and I am blown away with the vocal inflections/color notes. Ohhhhhh thank you for this you wonderful person, please don't ever stop making music!
Okay have to add, immediately rewatched to actually watch the video and not just listen, and the bit about imagining the violins, the deadpan look to the camera about the accent, and then the visual of the bickering at the end and the final look- had me damn near howling 😂❤ I did not think I could enjoy this more but I was wrong!

This show really is amazing.
I think its a shame a lot of people hate it, as they cant get past the religious aspects of it, or also a bit more understandably the crude humor it has in it.
However the story it tells is absolutely incredible, if you can get past the cursing and sex jokes.
More than anything with this voice is going to an angelic weapon in itself. Looking forward to all the hazbin covers.
