Good job - one additional tip when pads are out pump break lever to push out pistons slightly further to give them a good clean past their current position. Not too far though!
I'll recommend you (and everyone else) to clean also the brake rotors with brake cleaner and if you have floating discs, check and clean the pins. Jammed pins can cause none to pretty big wobbling when you hit brakes. Also. If you have uneven wear on brake pads, my opinion is pop pistons out, clean and wipe them with 2000grit wet sand paper of necessary and clean wipe also dust boots 👍
the only things different I would have done to make it easier to push the pistons back is open the brake fluid reservoir. well thats what i do on cars, not sure if its the same for bikes but hey, you gave it a bash and it works. Well done. Just wait for the wannabe mechanics coming along......................ohh you used your left hand to slacken the bolts, ohh no, always right hand. next time use an air gun and completely wreck the threads just as mechanics do 🙂
Only thing i would say is you should use a torque wrench on those mounting bolts, service manual says they are 34Nm 👍🏻

After removing and cleaning, would it be advantageous to reinsert the old pads and leverage those to get them flush?
EBC states not to use copper grease as all modern brake pads have anti squeal coating on the back of them...
What is the front wheel stand you're using gobs??
Hi just a quick question re on ZZr do you not use stud lock and toque up the caliper bolts ? Seems like a better way to go on 200 mph bike?
Thanks for the video, how often do you bleed the brakes? Years, mileage, or when it feels to be lacking etc
Everytime when you change brakefluids (remember flush them).

Stupid noob question but I’d like to see how these paddock stands attach
Funnily enough, I was thinking the same after shooting this one. Thanks for the comment 👍🙂
