The Sicilians are among the best humans I have ever met. I had heard of these fires and am grateful you escaped great harm. Sadly, I heard there were damages to the Greek settlement in nearby Segesta. 😢 Lo Zingero and Scopello are such gems along with nearby Monte Cofano. Breathtaking hikes high and low.
