- In this video we will be reviewing the Srixon ZX7 Driver that has recently been released by Srixon.
Myself (Pro), Lester (Scratch Handicap) & Lee (10 Handicap) will be giving you our thoughts on how it looks, feel and performs which will be backed up by some number from Foresight's GC Quad launch monitor.
We will also take it to the course to see how it performs in a fun challenge.

Like the out of the box review followed by a review when fitted. With the course element added in, a good format!
Love UK golf vloggers and their penchant for looks over performance when it comes to golf clubs and other things. We Americans are usually just the opposite. The first thing I do when buying a new truck is take it to the woods where I hunt and put a few scratches on it to break it in. 😁😁

That first drive from Lee, I bet that ball had ice on it when it finally came down 😂. Again having 3 different testers to give 3 different perspectives is a brilliant way of doing reviews. Way to 💣 it Lee.
now this is a proper review video. Some numbers, but mostly laughs and having fun with friends.
The videos are so on point Dan , intros , viewing angles , info , content and humour and now the reviews , great having 3 testing options , keep going guys
Great review. Way more informative than the normal UA-cam club review and way more relatable. Reviews like this and the course vlogs, which really make me smile are brilliant. This is fast becoming my favorite channel...
Probably the most thorough review that I have seen. Loved the fitting part. Without that you could have walked away thinking the driver was not as good as what you are using. This gives a true comparison to your current fitted driver. Lee technically hit both fairways with this driver. One was just the wrong hole.
The 3 man team is a terrific way to do reviews Dan. Nice to hear more than 1 opinion, since no club works for everyone.
Looking at a complete overhaul of the bag in the new year. Srixon is high on my list, especially since I don't have to sacrifice anything because I play lefty.
good mix of studio / numbers and course action. It gets said a lot but there is a big importance in fitting, especially now a days when clubs are getting more expensive. Off the shelf you all would probably say no thanks but after the fitting and revised numbers dare say would all be happy with it in your bag, if you wanted a Srixon... same could be said for Titleist, Callaway, Ping.... etc?
Really enjoyed the format and it looks like Srixon have a winner on their hands with both drivers, I believe the tour players are playing the ZX5.
Enjoyed that and good to compare fitted n not fitted . Gr8 channel that is now in my top 3 so is in watch all as opposed to watch occasionally. Hope it keeps growing

Always enjoy a good review even when not in the market for a new club 👍🏻 Club looks great, although must say I’m always shocked at the price of Srixon clubs 💰 I like the fitted vs off the shelf comparison. Well done boys!
Nice review Dan, Lester and Lee. I really like the format - data, opinions and a bit of on course fun. I watched it all and enjoyed it. I don’t want to watch someone bashing 100 balls on trackman or a montage of drives to music. Still keeping my Rapture v2/Ozik Code 6 for now though:)
Like the format of these reviews. I believe NASA are getting touch to hand Lee his ball back after a near collision with the ISS ;-)

Again a great review 3 different people giving there opinions and again this does prove that getting a fitting is a better option but it also proves that once fitted there probably isn’t a lot of difference between drivers now days or at least that’s my understanding
spot on with out of box and then fit, I always try a range of clubs then select it down to maybe three then go again BUT how many were discarded to early with off the shelf trial only.
Such an underated golf brand when it comes to clubs. Superb quality and cheaper than many top brands to boot

I enjoyed this way of reviewing with the three of you trying out of the box and then “fitting it”. Be careful though it does not disappear into Lester!s bag!
Another excellent review -think you’ve got it just right with all 3 testing and tests being done inside and out on the course. You 3 are heads above others at moment with superb course vlogs -chemistry between you makes them
keep that up because there to many pro and thay all hit it well . it a better reality check when you see a handicap player hit it ,even thou lees long dog , and lester need to be a bit more proud of him self , because he is far far better than he gives him self credit for . keep it up . and nice to see that you will review the other makes in golf that do not cost a arm and a leg ,

Excellent fitting video Dan and team. Will be interesting to see how the ZX5 compares to the ZX7 for each of you. I believe Shane Lowery was using the ZX5 in preference to the ZX7 where the former is apparently the more forgiving of the two. However, he has now put the Z 785 back in the bag so something about the ZX7 isn’t suitable for him.
Big fan of this style of review for a driver
I bought a new Ping driver recently, but wanted to try the Srixon and Mizuno, but finding stockists around where I live, well, not much chance really, so Ping fitting centre only about an hour and a half away was an obvious choice.
That looks a Stunner, the Black & Red look the Bogs Dollocks!
Good video again boys. A must watch for all golfers that are against being fitted and demonstrates a good and accurate fitting can really help players of all abilities. Keep up the good work.

Solid review! I do like the format. One thing few channels do is an extended look; it would be cool to see Lester game the fitted version for a trip and round up his thoughts on a Sunday Show. Just a thought. Keep up the great content!

Good format Dan. Very interested in how delofting driver can assist you hit higher up on the face increasing launch/reduce spin. Always struggle myself in hitting above equator of driver probably as a cause of tying to hit up on ball eve with high tee/ball at left toe. Whilst a reasonable ball striker at times, would be fearful of delofting as remember the old days with the 7.5o TM burners where ball could go anywhere if struck incorrectly...keep up good work! Very informative.

How about a vid on Hybrids vs long irons vs crossovers (eg Ping). what the benefits of each, who should swap out from long irons etc etc. I like the fact that the three of you are different h'caps (although Bernie is scratch). Great vid, I do prefer the instruction and course vlogs, but a review every so often is good.
Why do some pros carry bags and others like your brother and Peter have trolleys? I thought trolleys were supposed to be worth an extra shot or two per round because of not being so tired?

Nice review. Good looking and performing driver but at £449 it's competing with Callaway and TM. Needs to be at least £50 less to win that battle.

With Lee,s first drive I did hear that Air Traffic Control had to give it landing directions 😂
These are a valid option here in Australia as they are readily available at $569 AUD, $330 less than new ping g425😲

Great review Dan. The question is has anybody gamed this driver? Argument that it should go in the back for Lee or lester but probably won’t. Is that because it’s a Srixon?
Always happy to drop by and show the high handicap idiots opinions on clubs Guys, great work need more each and every day.
I like the look of these but it's much easier to find Ping, Titleist and the other big manufacturers who do fittings in my area. Hopefully Srixon's increasing popularity will change that.

I always liked Srixon equipment.. one thing that I don’t like so much is they used to be fantastic value ie slightly cheaper than the likes of titleist, Callaway etc.. their price point has now definitely shifted and their products are much higher end now. So I wonder what market they are going for..? 🧐

Nice thorough 3-tester review!! Question...when lofted down, did any tester notice significant opening of the face at address? My numbers are also better lofted down, but it sits far more open and I have to conciously close the face at address or it gets "pushed" (in real life golf). Thanks.

Interesting point my head cover is so tight I am afraid to use it in case I damage the driver (Cobra F Max).
Sounds interesting, what were the shaft options available and the price point, so I can compare with other drivers....thanks?
I think the problem where I am is that Srixon not massively available and because of that not a whole lot of fitters around the place

Dan i have a question for you. So this year has been shit how do you find the time being a pro teaching, vloging, and family time is it very stress full or does the wife u derstand being a ex golfer.
It’s been harder for more people than me to be honest. It’s given me a lot of time to sort out my shop with a refit, it’s also given me time to focus on the channel a little more which is good. Coaching has been poor for this year but again I feel those full time coaches more.
Now they put the price up to £400 will they still see increased sales?
