I doubt the numbers since the video shows something different. Maybe CLA had bad conditions?. Otherwise the spedometer could also be off. Also when C43 is at 250, the CLA is at 240. What is also weird: CLA has more HP and weights less. I assume C43 has way more than 367 HP

It's all about the fact that the CLA45 is FWD biased vs the C43s RWD biased so it pulls harder and faster. It's also a matter of how linear the torque curve is in the cars. The CLA45 has a a lot of lowdown torque but it dies out as the rpm rises (took me a while to overtake a Peugeot in my cla45 whilst we were doing 150 km/h due to the FWD biased nature and the torque dying out mid rpm range). I'm assuming the C43 has more torque as the rpms climb. Also tires is a factor and the gear ratios.
Because HP is not only speed Power. C43 has More way better Gearbox / a V6 Engine is bigger than 2.0L / C43 is twin turbo, CLA45 only single. Fact is The CLA45 have realy good performance, but V6 will be always More Effective. And next fact Of 0-100 is C43 have not Race Start Procedure option
Great video! It’s also interesting to see how the comments favors both cars. Not a clear winner on that! I have a SLC 43 AMG that I’m liking a lot and took it for a remap/downpipe with a very good shop. The sound now is amazing, a bit louder and deeper, not too pops and bangs. The power got an excellent increase across the RPM that tops at 75 WHP at 4500RPM. But the max power wasn’t that impressive: only 30 WHP. When I questioned the shop, they said that are very cautious about increasing the turbo boost on that engine. If they do that it can misfire. It seems that the OEM fuel pump/ injectors can’t cope with higher boost at max RPM and it can be dangerous for the engine to do so. That sounds reasonable. The results were not impressive, but nevertheless satisfying for the road. Anyone got a similar experience with the 43 AMG line engines?

Peter Pan This is not a dual clutch automatic. It’s the new 9G-tronic, which still has a torqueconverter. Hence why it whobbles a bit under full load...

The 340/440i especially with m performance sounds better though. The M4 sounds like total shit. U are right about that.
In my opinion the 40i with the M PERFORMANCE exhaust system sounds really good. But BMW needs to step its game up with the M3/M4 exhaust systems.

Peter Pan Drove the new CLS500 with this gearbox and I have to say it’s really good. Cruising at 160 km/h with just over 2000rpm 👍🏻
