  • VW/Audi changed from the 1.8L to the 2.0L around 2018 but the repair should be identical. For the VW Golf, Jetta, CC, Passat. The Audi A3,A4,A5, and A6 models of similar years.
    I the video I believe I said the OEM plug is a laser iridium, I ment to say it’s a NGK Laser Double Platinum 94833.
    OEM ignition coils are Accel 140088K

    What if the long black pieces don’t come up with it

      If the ignition coil boots didn’t come out with it. You may have broken your coils

    Hey what size is the socket for the plugs?

      5/8 socket. You can buy something called a spark plug socket it’s a 5/8 with a magnet in it

      @@ultimatediyguy395 Just swapped the plugs. Didn’t do the coil packs tho. We’ll see. Thank for the video and the reply!

      The video is helpful. But I can’t for the life of me get the coil packs out. I’ve tried removing the square box part, the rubber tube part just won’t budge. Pulling and stretching. Like it’s stuck around the plug? Tried compressed air down center, wd40…any other suggestions?

      @@VampireXXI if your not confident in yourself you may have to take it to a shop. If you break them you may have to buy new ones
